Framework is pretty legit. They are a VC firm with stake in all the most relevant DeFi projects, and Framework Labs is an offshoot which has additional VC funding behind them. They unironically might be the biggest players in DeFi today & at this point probably have well over $100MM behind them to back their own projects. They're specifically targeting Proof of Reserve which is interesting, WBTC really is the future of BTC.

Another thing to note is the ever growing $ amount that Chainlink is securing. When articles first were mentioning this it was $2B. Then it was $3B. Now it's $4B. This all within maybe a 2 month time span.
