This is an IQ test in the literal sense of the word. If you understood that all transaction rewards will be paid in LIT, even for TOMO-acquired usecases. Down the road (when TOMO acquires layer 2) they may decide to cut off LIT, but that surely won't happen without a merge between the coins. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 10-20x increase in tx's in only the next couple of weeks, as I think one of the main reasons this deal was pushed through was for TOMO to push a huge usecase through and they needed LIT's GDPR compliance.

I think what caused the negative reaction was how the announcement came about.
