The reaction is that we always thought TOMO-chain was a disappointing partnership. A company we were set to overtake in the coming year. The disappointment is of course enormous when the project we have been supporting, who finally got their main-net ready, launched sidechains and seemed to be going places gets bought by some 3rd tier vietnamese blockchain. It does not fit the narrative.

And yes. Trust-nodes could withdraw their tokens when they felt like it. Thats why Richard locked them last night, because he knew quite a few would sell (myself included), it would cause harm to the blockchain.

I think they bought it with a specific use case in mind and want control over it rather than doing a sidechain.... STO platform or Digital currency ... maybe not but im massivly bullish on this news we are right now making a guaranteed 20% staking with the energy sidechain, Im not really thinking of buying more lit right now unless it goes sub 7 cent but im comfy .... Compound interest is the most important finacial tool to getting rich... it is rare that a any investment vehicle offers 20% minimum ... tomo also will be pushing to get us listed on big exchanges... all will be clearer after they make the announcment on friday

>> No.23577171

>>23577057
Dunno. Maybe they got even bigger news coming. Could be an exchange listing. Richard talked about a CEX listing, and today's listing on TOMO isn't a CEX listing. But who knows, could be anything. Whatever you do, don't fucking sell. If you sell now or in the coming months, you will be rekt for life, and you might as well spend the ETH you get on a rope.

But yeah, very interesting AMA coming. Can't wait. It will also kill all the FUD - if it hasn't dissipated by then. I think LIT is about to moon - as in today/tomorrow. Doesn't look like a dead cat bounce, but more a bear trap.

Good morning from burger land LITGEN!

Obviously this news before the AMA has a lot of us pretty worried. I'm more just uncertain about what it all means since I just saw it and am at work right now.

But noticing the dump, the whole market just took a massive shit right now so keep that in mind. I'm glad I pulled what little money I had in stocks the other day because I'm going to see how far down it goes before my funds clear to scoop up some cheap LIT. My average is.09 anyway, and I'm not shaking one bit.

Stay strong and hold the line litbros!

I just checked the new redesign of the lition.io website. On the website there is this part that says "Lition core blockchain engine for
central banks ". Maybe this has something to do with the news that has never taken place before? Or is it just the syndicated loans usecase? But it seems like it's something new, because the syndicated loans usecase is something seperate on the site.

At least you know now that there's a massive support at 0.09$. So it's the most you can lose. It's better that it happened so early so we can now wait in peace.

That's the lowest it can go.

This is an IQ test in the literal sense of the word. If you understood that all transaction rewards will be paid in LIT, even for TOMO-acquired usecases. Down the road (when TOMO acquires layer 2) they may decide to cut off LIT, but that surely won't happen without a merge between the coins. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 10-20x increase in tx's in only the next couple of weeks, as I think one of the main reasons this deal was pushed through was for TOMO to push a huge usecase through and they needed LIT's GDPR compliance.

This is exactly what Lition is? Lition is the L2 to Tomos L1. Tomo is an ETH competitor and we were always aware that Lition is chain agnostic and can attach itself to any chain.
Also Lition has the LIT Token, a strong community, a secure network. Why would they burn us to start new!? This FUD is completely retarded.

I think what caused the negative reaction was how the announcement came about. I mean dropping an article then selectively answering questions in a really vague way when obviously under some form of NDA just comes across as stupid to me when you have a live video announcement in two days time where you can explain things clearly. The only reason i can think of why they would take this approach is to get as many people watching the announcement as possible. But even then it feels like i'm grasping at straws.
