That was always my impression. They have better reproductions but they don't have infallible ones. There's always some issue, either a shit casting, material, or dimensions.

they're identical because they're using the exact same die pattern for each year and mint mark, just changing the dates and marks.

they're pretty good fakes. The ones struck in actual silver anyways. The coin I posted a pic of is silver plated brass I believe. So the weight and measurements are off on the plated ones. But the silver version is pretty close to being right.

I don't have one on hand, I just see them offered for sale sometimes and refuse to buy. Coin guy (who's apparently been at this for >2 decades) said it was legit pretty quickly after seeing it which is why I was a bit concerned but I didn't want to question his judgment. Again, if it's not an obvious fake, I'll let it rest.

Anyway thank you for talking more about how to ID the bad coins. I'll be sure to, at the very least, avoid the toned memes and stay away from eBay when it comes to more commonly faked coins.

I've seen AG-G morgans (decent) and draped bust dollars (obvious fakes). Both for sale on ebay for a little above spot.

the bigger question is how often they get bought. An AG morgan is scrap unless it's a key date, but an AG Draped Bust Dollar is worth about $1000 US right now, so it might become a problem. Bigger problem is you can't sell a fake except as scrap, so you'd need to tell the buyer it's fake or maybe deface it per US law to sell it.
