Yes, I lied on my resume. I lied to get into college. My entire life is a lie, but I’m charismatic and jobs are mostly just doing the same repetitive task over and over again. Even if I’m a fraud to get where I am, I’m still better than most of my coworkers. I also make tons of money in crypto because I actually care about this — not some cosine bullshit I would only ever use if I was a coder. I read constantly about subjects I’m interested in and consider them to be an “investmen in opportunity cost. Life is short enough that you will be miserable if you don’t live for yourself. You learned a valuable lesson on that test. If you hate a subject, cheat. If you like one learn everything possible and earn your grade. It will feel all the more valuable if you cheated for your other A’s.
