Hi guys,

My family has a business outside of Canada and is planning on moving to Canada in the future.

Due to the business we have accumulated some wealth outside of Canada ($20 million CAD) and have cash income of $500,000 CAD on an annual basis.

As part of moving back here we would like to invest in real estate as it seems to be a safe and profitable investment.

Since interest rates are low we want to buy property with a 25% down payment and use the cash flow from the business and rental income to cover the mortgage payments.

Our business is in a third world country and has little documentation to support the figures. This will make it difficult to borrow against its income inside Canada.

I have a job in Canada so I can use that to qualify for a personal mortgage to buy one property.

I'm a fresh uni grad so my access to credit is limited and the issue with the business makes it hard to use that to obtain financing.

We had the following questions:

How can we use bank financing to buy multiple properties?

What kind of professionals should we reach out to regarding this problem? (lawyers, accountants, real estate agents?)

We didn't inherit our wealth.
We had to work for every dime.
My granddad was a janitor and my dad only got to go to uni cause of a scholarship.

He tried to get a job in Canada for years but they didn't accept his education so he gave up and went back home.
We really only got successful cause of taking risks where no one else would.
No political or family connections.
Why do we not deserve to retire somewhere safer?

I'm based in Ontario.
Just want to know which doors to knock.
We don't have any family connections or friends in Canada.
