I'm sure I know your opinion on polling, but given that last election, Trump had a +10% advantage of Clinton, it was safe to say texas was going to Trump. This election that polling advantage is completely wiped out. So it will be closer than envisioned. Another worrying thing is that Texas has been chasing Tech jobs hard and has been quite successful at attracting them. The downside is that with tech jobs comes Tech employees who are college educated and vote blue. It happened in Colorado and its only a matter of time before it happens to Texas too.

In North Carolina and Georgia, typically the urban voters who vote blue are disincentive from polling, but with more easily accessible voting, and blue voters being more motivated. You will see them turn out which should make the GOP in those states nervous.
