Wtf is wrong with normies, I swear to god they are actual NPCs, I could spend years of my life just travelling the world and trying out the most expensive and best cheeses and wine or autistically studying Egyptology or some shit, I can literally think of thousand’s of ways to spend my time other than working and yet it’s like these people aren’t satisfied if they aren’t being told what to do and then being placated for being good goys at the workplace (cattle farm), they also seem to have some sick camaraderie with their fellow wage slaves as if they are proud to be in the state of slavery with eachother. I’m ashamed that my family was no ingenious enough to own enough revenue producing assets for us to live on and even though my family is decently wealthy and I work in management I still feel like a cattle slave for not being as wealthy as Jeff Bezos. 1. Make it.
2. Put yourself into a situation where no one around you inquires whether or not you have made it.
You can accomplish "2" in a ton of ways, but fundamentally it requires you moving past the egocentric point of requiring that everyone around you knows that you made it. Whether you convince people you're broke, that you can't be counted on, etc. or you simply surround yourself with people who don't care whether you've made it or you just don't surround yourself with people at all and spend your time in quiet contemplation, it's up to you, but 2 is important. It's important because once most people around you know that you've made it, they will dial up their consumption demands and treat you like a God that is meant to answer their prayers. They'll also crucify you like a God if you fail to deliver.

If you have been a wage slave for a decade it's going to be hard to explain why you are quitting.
It's even worse if you made yourself indispensable and extremely difficult to replace.

The only solution I found is to say I am planning on creating a company to try out an idea and to take some vacation before.
This way it doesn't hurt those locked in the slave script too much and gives me an opportunity to come back if something happens.

But even with this exit plan, my company is going to find out how much they undervalued and underpaid me when I quit and they need a complete team of 5 developers + 1 manager to replace me with a worse quality result.
This will fuck all of their projects for a few years depending on my work and leave a bad impression because they will think it's my fault for quitting despite causing my burnouts and being the reason I came to /biz/ to make it...

Anyone who has made it here has made it because of Chainlink. I have nearly $1M in chainlink and were it not for Chainlink, I'd be lucky to have $15,000 to my name right now.

Despite having made over $500k this year, I don't have any illusions as to being competent or able to give anyone advice on how to make money. I guarantee you, 90% of linkies are similar to me. I have talked to many large link holders and we're all the same. We were lucky enough to stumble across Link at the right time and hopeless enough to go all in and hope for the best.

There are no other cryptos like Chainlink.

>> No.23506226

Elaborating on that, I've been investing in crypto since early 2017 and I am seeing so much of the same thing happen now that happened back then. Lots of people getting involved now at a terrible time hoping to make it when, in all likelihood, we are about to have a big bubble burst in crypto and equities.

The best advice is this: if the market starts pumping like crazy and BTC starts running up $500+ per day, Chainlink starts going up $1-2 per day...get the fuck out and don't be greedy.

When you feel like a genus, printing money, and everyone else does too...remember that you're not a genius. You're a retard and so is everyone else. Take profits and wait for everything to come back down.

Right...there is Ethereum in 2015, and Bitcoin in 2013.

But unless you have a time machine, you can't profit off of those. If you haven't gotten AT LEAST 10k links, you're priced out of Link too, and even $10k won't make you "rich"

Nothing else has the network effect and growth potential. Anyone who says otherwise is shilling you a shitcoin. There will undoubtedly be shitcoins that moon 20x...but that is all short term and none of those things will grow indefinitely and they always dump to shit.

It's not even that...it's that at a certain age, you realize that if you want to enjoy certain things out of life, you're going to have to earn more money to do so.

If you're sole ambition is to sit on a computer all day...then you're not going to have any desire to work and could maybe sustain that kind of lifestyle by buying and selling the right shitcoins at the right time

You can buy online courses for this which let you learn this quickly for some money if you know how to recognize a conman from a honest person.
Did you spend the last years just waiting for Link to go up without preparing for your future?

Law 29: Plan all the way to the end
>The ending is everything. Plan all the way to it, taking into account all the possible consequences, obstacles, and twists of fortune that might reverse your hard work and give the glory to others. By planning to the end you will not be overwhelmed by circumstances and you will know when to stop. Gently guide fortune and help determine the future by thinking far ahead.

Nothing I would have learned would have made me more money than just buying and holding Link.

I'm in school studying Software Engineering because of Link. I don't want to be an annoying "trader" nigger trying to be profitable on 60% of my trades. I'm also not interested in sitting around looking at charts all day. There are lots of ways to make money besides trying to speculate on markets. The richest people I know aren't traders.

Tell them you work for the government in an analyst position and are not allowed to tell them what you do. Pro points to take flights to foreign countries and don't tell them what you did there. For looking cool

Tell them you work as an remote application manager of an IT governance application. For giving the impression of some boring job where no one want to dive deeper in.

I could go on all day. It's easy OP. Just choose a story, plant some indirect evidence. And if they want to get into deep questions tell them your a bit stressed about your job and you don't want to talk about it in your free time.

Your rich and still here? Just tell them the truth, your mainly at home relaxing and browsing the internet.

I mainly browse biz, particulary smg which is filled with shills and freaks, looking for good picks. Still not rich and most of their picks end up losing me a bit of money. Have been browsing biz less and less though as my own strategies are doing better than just blindly taking their advice (up about 7k in a month). Just waiting for the right moment to go all in on one of my picks which should it go as I suspect will push me into the low 6 figure range. The moment I hit about 300k I'm out of here, 300k is reaching the point where you can make lots of money with very little risk. No point of browsing biz at that point if I'm mainly here to get rich.

One guy would quit immediately although he was different from the others and weird not the same kinda weird as me but some similarities.

I asked a girl and she said "I'd keep working, what else would I do? I'd be bored."

If one ends up being hugely succesful I can at least never worry about wagecucking again and can focus on making games a lot better as I have various idea's I'd like to turn into games but knowing I'm not rich means I can't focus on it entirely.

You need to understand how markets work, human psychology and the cyclic nature of investments.
This knowledge is shared by investors and traders, but by learning trading you can get more experience a lot faster as investments work on a longer time frame.
It doesn't mean you have to become a trader, you just need to learn their mindset and have some basic knowledge.
You can trade using a virtual trading account or just paper.
The important part is to understand how it works and experience it for yourself without going on a gambling spree with real money.

If you continue this path of ignoring things because you got lucky you are going to give back everything you got from your luck once you won't have help to keep your wealth.
It's a lot harder to keep your wealth than to generate it.

It's a bit different. I caused my own problems because of my bad mindset.
If you just run away from your problems you will never learn anything and overcome them.
There are a lot of good people there who share similar problems, and some of them changed in a similar way like me at the same time.
Others just started going through this process and I am bit curious to see what happens to them.
It feels a bit like being a Link marine and sharing hard times for some time together.
The main problem comes from the incompetent management causing all the issues, but a lot of the "losers" on the lower end are good people.
