Are we in a recession?

I am repairing, buying and selling stuff from ebay for years now and it has always been fun and profitable but over the years i started to notice that demand slowly moved down

while from 2017 to 2019 demand clearly went down, it was so little that you could ignore it and still make decent profits.
From 2019 to 2020 on the other hand it was like day and night, it feels like demand dropped in that one year more than in the last 3 years combined.

During the Corona lockdown profits were skyrockting again and it was 2017 levels of profits, but this would only last for few weeks until demand completely collapsed
