Capital gains tax is 25% in Germany which isn't too bad. However, domestic brokers fuck you in the ass with fees, don't offer trade at foreign exchanges and limit your product selection to only stocks or predatory warrants. I personally switched to Interactive Brokers and the difference is night and day. Now I sell highly liquid options on US exchanges for a commission of pennies.
