You could be right, Chainlink might not be used in these instances. But it's still nice to see that there's growing interest in the use of smart contracts by these companies. A win for smart contracts is a win for chainlink, even if link isn't being widely used right off the bat. In time, as these industries continue to research and experiment with smart contracts, they will come to the conclusion that they need an oracle network such as the one that Sergey has built

Of course there are. Clause isn’t blockchain specific, they allow you to interface with databases and resources in cloud environments and is supposed to simplify building smart co tracts without needing coding knowledge. For the blockchain aspects you need to look into Accord and Kaliedo.
