I personally dont think dot/kusama is overvalued. Only reason I dont invest in it is cause I don't think it will overthrow eth. I am.only interested in backing the winner, also I dont have a sense for how seperate block chain tech will co exist. I wonder if it will become a monopoly or duopoly.

If the network takes off, which it seems to be doing, then eventually there will be bridge fees that will be paid to STAKE holders. Also, if DSR comes into existence again (seems likely), then STAKE holders earn the interest of all the DAI that is on the bridge as well.

KSM isn't that different in the sense that it is a chain where you can test your DOT applications with economic consquences. xDai can be used for the exact same thing. The difference is, KSM is abandonware. KSM is DOT's canary network. There are NO tx's on it. xDai can also serve as a canary network for ETH, which actually has users and transactions. The valuation with KSM is ludicrous.
