altcoins and bitcoin are both good investments but will take slightly different paths to their new all time highs. Dont listen to people that tell you BTC is dead and dying. Also dont listen to people that say Alts are scams. Both are wrong if your time horizon is more than a year or two.

P.S. Some altcoins are scams, you have to DYOR if you're not buying BTC/ETH/XMR/...

Not necessarily, but alts with strong fundamentals certainly. Previously bullrun ETH was significantly better than BTC, and so were a handful of total shitcoin. This run will likely be the same, but total shitcoins are less likely to 100x except during PnDs. Your safest bets are (in order of risk/reward) PNK, ETH, LINK. LINK is objectively the best but has already largely pumped and has less room to go than PNK and the recovery then pump of ETH.
