I'm from Poland visiting the US and it's interesting to see the same thing. In Poland everyone has fences around their front and rear yards. The US is all open. I like it more in the US, feels very fenced in in Poland.

What is your source on that number. Most states do not require registering your guns, so there is no way to accurately predict how many people own guns. I can tell you that where I am at, everyone owns guns. I don't know of a single household that doesn't own a gun.
