Just asked the devs in the Telegram if STA is really banned on Balancer after the recent incident, apprently it cannot be banned officially (Balancer not capable of doing so) but it’s also not allowed on Balancer so it is indeed banned for now

I think it would be good if the devs paid a bit out of their own pockets to market as well so it's not only on biz's hands even though it is a community project.

Also to answer some of your questions (they provided a decent explanation in telegram if you scrolled further down after I asked this question) - Balancer code does not work with any deflationary coins! This means that balancer particularly hating and wanting to blacklist statera IS A COMPLETE HOAX. They have put the delta token in balancer instead which consists of 50% STA and 50% ETH which solves the whole issue pretty well (as delta is tandard erc20 not deflat)

Here's what they said when I questioned if delta is in fact currently being used in the balancer phoenix fund. Apparently not banned from the pool then!

Statera hasn’t been used in the pool since the hack. Phoenix has always been 40% Delta and the burn happens on Uniswap. Afaik it works just as well as the old pool but of course it’s more confusing for your average user.
