Looking at replacing my digital scale because it only does one decimal point and needs to be recalibrated and a 300g weight will cost more or as much as a new scale that does 2 decimal points.
I would prefer one that can weigh 10oz bars and has a .01 accuracy, but the "auto-calibration" kind of has me concerned
https://www.amazon.ca/My-Weigh-T3-400-Triton-Digital/dp/B00A755058/ref=sr_1_15?dchild=1&keywords=digital+pocket+scale&qid=1602862958&sr=8-15
But I am gravitating towards this one because it comes with the calibration weight, but it cannot weigh 10oz bars and has a .03 accuracy
https://www.amazon.ca/Conversion-Back-Lit-Function-Medicine-Included/dp/B07L8ZVVRM/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=digital+pocket+scale&qid=1602862958&sr=8-5
Anyone have any other suggestions?

The Nazis started it. They invaded the thread right after the SLV shill got banned. It's probably the same people who are responsible for both phenomena, because both groups are fond of using the word "Schlomo," and the SLV shill was constantly posting Nazi imagery. The Austrians are simply tired of having our thread invaded.

>anti-gold

To be fair I'm pretty suspicious of gold myself. I believe that large secret gold reserves exist (recovered Yamashita gold, shit buried under Indian temples, Secret Chinese and Russian holdings, private dynastic family vaults etc.) which like Debeers and their diamonds presents an image of exaggerated scarcity relative to true holdings and especially when compared with silver which seems to be suffering from the opposite problem; a well crafted image of exaggerated abundance.

Austrians may say that gold is money whereas silver is currency, and indeed that interpretation was pretty accurate in 1905, but in the subsequent century we've stockpiled gobs of additional gold while silver in relative terms in all non-industrial above ground forms is now only 4.5x as plentiful as the STATED (but much higher in reality) gold reserves in equivalent non-industrial forms.

Obviously the Usual suspects want to keep screwing silver in favor of now rather common gold, but I'm not going along with that scheme, silver has always been my favorite metal on earth and that won't be changing now.

In conclusion, this "SLV Shill" isn't some basic online troll. He is shifting roles to confuse and divide people. Basically divide and conquer.

The only mistake the SLV shill made is that the strategy (e.g. "Daily reminder"-type copypasta posting) is consistent so it's easier to pick apart from the crowd.

Guess I should have said "some" austrians. I prefer silver money and in my simplistic lolbertardian view it would be a more free and decentralized sort of money than Gold, which will still mostly be held in central vaults under the control of big institutional powers and authorities. A well run gold backed monetary system could provide great stability... For as long as good people are at the helm.

I'd happily take a floating, more volitile but free and independent silver coin over a managed and thus manipulated goldback, but I'm quite a silversperg so whatever.

They have I believe 7 operating mines spanning 5 countries and have exploration work at over a dozen sites world wide. Their most important property today is the Lucky Friday Mine located in Idaho's Silver Valley, one of the longest continuously operating silver mines in the US. They are currently looking for smaller junior explorers and miners to work with to generate future reserves. They seem to be very interested in the Dolly Varden property specifically.

the object is not to convert you to any ideology (does that ever work?)
the object is to get anons to fight each other. after a while everyone fights and they don't even have to do any work. as far as I can see, it's nearly mission accomplished on /pmg/

it's pointless to try to speculate who it is without IPs. on /pmg/, pro-/pol/ will accuse anyone who disagrees as a jew, and anti-/pol/ will accuse anyone who disagrees as a nazi. best to report trigger posts and to not pour fuel into the fire.

Based, and a verified fact too. Unfortunately most all coin these days is soulless, really starting going down hill when they moved to CAD/CNC die-crafting and lower cost lower relief strikes. look at the high relief of a 1968 copper cent versus a modern flat one for example, modern shit is more like Chuckie Cheese tokens (rip in pizza ole fren) than dimensional sculptural proper coin like us burgers had in the 1920s.

100+ kg of iron, biggest piece was from tracks of a forest cutter ~27kg
Two coins, one out of bronze-aluminum and other polish 10 cents 1840, I suspected it's made out of sliver, because looks, turns out I have 2.9 grams of silver now!! It's polished hard, so maybe it's only two now, gotta weigh it tomorrow. I'm rich. I love forest detecting, people leave so much of metal behind. Pry bars are common finds.

TLDR up 50% from Q2 to about 30,000 GE oz's

I personally like Schiff because he's the most entertaining for me, although he's really on a bender with orange man. Sprott on Fridays is usually nice. People like recommending George Gammon. It depends on your background. I think Schiff will hammer you the most on understanding what an "economy" is and understanding inflation. If you like Ron Paul, he's been running a show daily. They both come from the same school of thoughts. It won't be strictly on how or why to invest in precious metals, but it will give you a better sense of how dire things are right now and where all of our wealth has gone.

most explorers don't want to mine the ground themselves. They usually want to option or partner with a larger company than either get bought out or sell the property when the site nears production. Than they move on to the next site. Bunker Hill will be a long ways off, if your willing to wait a few years than they will likely become a major producer again. Look more towards companies like Ascot or Skeena if you want projects that will likely become operating mines in the next two years.

McEwen was CEO and founder of Goldcorp, a successful Mining Company eventually acquired by Newmont Mining. As highlighted in the video, fire and flooding shutdown many of his mines in Q1, and then Corona-Virus shut down more operations in Q2. The company has a sizeable amount of debt, and when Gold was $1500, only fair(but large) gold ore reserves for actual mining. These factors has dampened it's stock price during the last 6 months of PMs bullish rise.

Now that hard numbers prove a profitable business is here, it'll get a revaluation in the week/month to the upside. Mind you, I still consider McEwen a long term hold, as it's worst days are behind it. Both Aurcana and McEwen will benefit from higher silver prices(Aurcana more so) but McEwen Mining will also benefit from Gold prices, so it depends if you're trying to play the G/S ratio, which is even more complicated with miners(note I have both stocks).

Ascot just ordered brand new milling equipment for their Premier mine / mill. They are still deep in the planning fase of things. Hey Pan Man you know much about Ascot Resources? One of the Golden Triangle miners. Here's what Don Durret says

"Ascot Resources has a large high-grade gold project in Canada (British Columbia). They have four deposits (Premier, Silver Coin, Big Missouri, and Red Mountain) with 3.5 million oz (7 gpt). Plus, they have a mill that needs to be refurbished that can fed by all four. They have done extensive drilling and are now ready to move forward with development.
It's a past producing mine and they think it will be easy to permit. The EIS is already approved, which takes the longest to permit. The location is the golden triangle, where infrastructure is always a challenge. However, they claim to have good infrastructure in place from past mining.

We won't know the capex until the feasibility is released. However, I expect it to be around $100 million, which is low for their expected 200,000 oz annual production (if Red Mountain is included). Plus, they are not expecting high costs. My guess is that it will be around $700 per oz for cash costs and $1,100 per oz for all-in costs (free cash flow).

Premier also has a large open pit deposit. Recent drill results (572 meters at 1 gpt) point to a large open pit mine. All four deposit areas have extensive exploration potential on 25,000 acres and 15 target areas. They expect to find a lot more high-grade underground and low-grade surface gold.

Their other project is Mt Margaret in the US (Washington). It has 500 million tons of mineralized ore. It is primarily a copper project, but will also produce around 1.5 million oz of gold (.25 gpt with perhaps 60% recovery rates). They are drilling it and have a target of 4 billion lbs of copper and 4 million oz of gold. I expect them to sell Mt Margaret if they get a good offer.

The red flag for Ascot is that they are a takeover target. My experience is that once large projects get de-risked and are near production, they get taken out for a small premium.

Ascot is one of my favorites. I ve spent years of my life wandering over that particular part of the BC, AK border for different companies. I love that particular mine because its got incredible near surface gold potential and an existing mill. Ascot has also got their Red Mountain project nearby, which they could ship high grade ore from to mill at Premier as well. Scottie gold up the road from Premier also could bring ore from their high grade underground project to this same mill, as well as 2 other projects owned by other companies whoes names escape me. Lots of ground to work with, a mill being modernized as we speak and lots of work nearby. Not only does Premier have pit potential, at Big Missouri the underground ore body there is fantastic as well. Hang on I may even have some of my ore from there still laying around in my closet from 2010.
