I'm in the United States, and I'm a sysadmin for a small company. I work regularly 7am to 4pm. I'm in need of secondary income. I can sustain myself fine with what I have, but I want to eventually get to the point I can invest the majority of my salary, and live off of any secondary income. I generally need ~$2500/mo to live off of. That lands me with around $1000/mo that I put into savings, but my savings will dry out as I'm in the process of fixing my teeth(~$12,000).

That being said, I do some moonlighting but it's very sporadic and not reliable. Especially given the current global situation people have been wary of someone working in their home, and businesses have been too slow to the point they don't want to upgrade their IT infrastructure and just call me to break-fix. I also cannot be there to provide emergency support during the day, which makes it hard to sell.

Like anything, secondary income is not possible without hard work - but I want to get some ideas from /biz/ regarding what you do for secondary income. Hopefully that will give me some ideas.
