NAK seems like such an insane gamble. What happens if they get the permit? It does a 2x, maybe a 4x max? Obviously it will take many years, maybe a decade before the mine is actually built and the price can potentially go further.
What's the probability of getting the permit? 10%? Less?
The odds are so bad. Why not simply 2x your money by directly gambling on Trump's reelection with a 50+% chance of success.

I genuinely wondered how many parents, if shown this, and said that if this was your daughter, would you rather have laws set up so that you would be able to choose her husband, and she wouldn't be allowed to get a divorce, of if you could keep the laws the same and she would sleep with this random black dude, which would you choose?

I feel like a lot of people get behind this notion of individual sexual freedom for women until it negatively effects their own kid.

Well after months of hanging in limbo about my new job things are picking up speed again about it. I'll still be employed by the same "company" but it'll be an internal promotion to a new job with a 10% pay bump. The only thing that can derail it is if the internal "HR process" screws me over. The way they do it is ass backwards. They do the interview process first then they kick the top 3 promising applicants to the "internal HR" who then decides if all 3 meet the job qualifications. Then "internal HR" kicks it down to whoever had the opening saying "all 3 pass" or whatever. Then "whoever" decides which lucky person gets the job and contacts the lucky person setting things in motion for them to come in and the start date, etc. The thing is in this case, there is no other applicants, oh sure they gotta go thru the motions, make it all legal, but I'm the only one who'll get the nod. Just gotta get thru internal HR.

With a 100%shorted stock I don’t think a short is going to turn their nose up at a call option to make delivering shares someone else’s problem and cap their loss. But yeah he would want to sell most of them early in the squeeze to be safe. With 500 bucks he would get less than 40 shares right now, might as well go for broke if you’re trying to play GME with that little. GME hits 100 bucks he only makes 3500 profit, which is nice but I’d hate to find out options could have made 5x that.

Borr Drilling Limited - Appointment of Christoph Bausch as CFO
PRESS RELEASE PR Newswire
Oct. 14, 2020, 08:40 AM
OSLO, Norway, Oct. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Borr Drilling Limited (the "Company") (NYSE: BORR) (OSE: BDRILL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Christoph Bausch as its new Chief Financial Officer, replacing Mr. Francis Millet with effect from 1 November 2020.

Patrick Schorn, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"I am pleased to announce Christoph as the new Chief Financial Officer of Borr Drilling. Christoph has been Chief Financial Officer of NYSE and OSE listed oilfield service companies for many years and brings extensive industry and financial experience. His deep knowledge of the contract drilling business combined with his experience in financial restructuring will be of tremendous help to support Borr's strategic plans in a challenging operating environment. I also want to thank Francis for his dedication and many contributions to Borr's significant development during this critical time."
Borr Drilling (BORR) has recently announced that it was contemplating offering of $40 million - $50 million and that it managed to extend maturity of $595 million of loan facilities until January 2023. Borr Drilling continues its attempts to improve its liquidity profile for the near future.
BORR is easily a $20 stock, better get in while you can get 2 shares for a dollar.

Wanting a daughter implies that you subconsciously think of yourself as a beta and that you believe that male offspring will not be able to carry on your genetic lineage. Wanting daughters instead of sons is basically Beta-Insurance as you can be quite unattractive and have a shitty personality and SIMPS will still want to fuck and breed you. This desire of daughters by betas likely also ties to them being closeted pedophiles.

Following your reasoning,
50% = Trump re-elected; 80-90% mine approved in line with executive order https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-addressing-threat-domestic-supply-chain-reliance-critical-minerals-foreign-adversaries/ for Rhenium
318 million pounds of copper ($3.04 per pound), 362,000 ounces of gold ($1911 per oz), 14 million lb of molybdenum ($7.93 per pound), 4.2 million kg of Rhenium total / 20 ($2844 per kg), and 1.8 million oz of silver a year ($25.25 per oz) over a 20-year mine life
$966M copper, $691M gold, $111M molybdenum, $45M silver, $597M rhenium = $2.4 billion per year produced (?)
Comparing other mines with $2.4 billion in revenue have market caps such as Polymetal international $8 billion cap, Agnico Eagle $20 billion, Fresnillo PLC $13 billion cap
(https://www.ftmmachinery.com/blog/the-world-top-100-mining-companies-and-revenues-in-2019.html))
Current market cap NAK $577M --- so for NAK going to $8 to $20 billion would be 13.86 to 34.66x ($15.80 - $39.51 range)
$15.80 x 0.5 x 0.8 = $6.32 expected value
50% = Biden elected = 10-20% mine approved [muh environmentalism] NAK falls to ~$0.50 if not approved, $15.80 eventually if approved
$15.80 x 0.5 x 0.1 = $0.79 expected value
Expected 30% loss vs. 454% gain

The "you can't beat index funds" is marketing propaganda for passive fund brokers like Vanguard. S&P 500 is simply a portfolio that follows a set of rules. Most people fail at investing because most people think it requires 0 effort or research and is completely hands off. That people like Warren Buffett are permanent long term holders is a myth propagated by their handful of wild successes where the fundamentals of those companies warranted holding them every single year. Most of the companies Buffett held were for around 2 years.

You're nuts if you buy AMC (right now) for sure it's a recovery play, but it is not time yet
>here's a copypasta because I'm lazy
Even if a vaccine comes out..
It'll come out in stages - where it goes to the people who need it the most first, then 'medium' need, then young people - it's not going to just be "okay everyone you can go get your vaccine now"
Currently ~50% of the population is also refusing to take the first vaccine, wanting to wait & see how it affects other people / if it can be trusted.
After the vaccine is released, you're looking at 6-10 months before it actually would change behavior..
Furthermore, you're not thinking at all about the "chicken" of AMC (the "egg")
The chicken is movies - there are not new movies being made, especially anywhere to the level of blockbuster films that would revitalize the industry
Financing has also been crowded out, so it's going to be harder to produce movies
The new Batman movie already had to stop production because of Pattinson getting covid - it's going to take a lonnnnng time before the movie production industry picks back up
It takes ~1 year for movies to be made - so you're looking at 18-22 months before recovery..
Covid is spiking hard nationwide - it's only going to get worse this winter
I think that movie theaters will survive.. but it's going to be very messy for the next 2 years.
For these reasons, I'm out

GME is the perfect storm, you'll most likely never see another situation like this for a long long time. Healthy financials, bright future, active investors, 97% of stocks owned by big boys, fresh start and a bright future while also being primed for a squeeze.
AMC is just priced low because they are going bankrupt in 2 months. YES, Hollywood MIGHT bail them out, but why the fuck would you even go AMC? There are SO many better plays out right now and AMC has a HIGH chance of going to ZERO.
