Your daily reminder not to trust Hitlerites and Greenbackers.

https://www.garynorth.com/public/department141.cfm

Whether you have a central bank print paper money, or have the government do it directly, MMT and socialism are just as evil.

For weeks now, every thread has had infiltrators from /pol/ virtue-signalling about Jews in every post, triple-bracketing every other word, promoting communist, neo-Nazi, Greenbacker rubbish like A History of Central Banking and the Enslavement of Mankind. Expect those whom you attack to fight you back.

also ebay guarantees everything you buy, so if you get a fake and test it quickly enough you'll get your money back even if the seller scams you.

I doubt it, unless they're super flush with usd. Exxon chevron, and Occidental aren't going anywhere as long as orange man is around, and I would imagine dementia Joe will also prop up oil as a strategic resource/industry (just less subsidy for exploration).

"SILVER could be here" he thought, "I've never been in this hotel before. There could be SILVER anywhere. The AC humming in the background sent a cool breeze across his bare chest. Briefly he thought of his discharge from the Navy reserve, that was the ticket. I could have had more. "MORE SILVER" he thought, dispelling the guilt his father made him feel. It ain't me reverberated through the entire motel, making it pulsate as the $10 dimebag circulated through his thick veins and dispelled his (merited) fear of being without SILVER. "As a senator's son I am a fortunate one." he said to himself, out loud.

My bet is that gold will lead with silver and oil trailing barely. Agriculture might lead gold. Many other metals will follow after. I am watching copper, zinc, and other smaller markets. I'm torn on tankers, but I'm excited for the mid term. I'd be the lightest on the tankers right now. Crypto... I'm not so sure. I really like btc, distributed ledger tech/blockchain/smart contracts, but I think it will only survive as a centralized system which makes it pretty redundant. Right now, the whole ecosystem seems like tulips. I hated the comparison in 2016 and 2017, but it seems more apt now in 2020. I think for the next few years the btc experiment is going to be put through fire and hell. If it makes it this time, it moons spectacularly, but I unfortunately have doubts at the moment and much prefer physical gold.

From a commodity cycle point of view, I agree and see the demand for commodities increasing massively as we are near the bottom of the cycle for sure. Whatever the reason will be, I'm not sure, but the charts are saying something. Copper is another one that I forgot to mention, it's bullish case from 2023 or so onwards is huge. However, during recessions I don't like copper as demand will be constrained from the deflationary effects. I've been holding only onto Oroco Resources for my copper plays, as it was the only copper stock where I wasn't betting on the commodity of copper but instead on the company. I'm watching Solaris resources, Northern Dynasty, and a few others I forget. As for Uranium I hold small positions in Nexgen, Energy Fuels, Ur energy, Encore, Denison, Cameco, Global Atomic, goviex, looking to buy UEX and Western Uranium.

Agriculture is very interesting. Platinum and palladium will move too, but I wonder if it's after the recession. Oil tankers I think are near bottoming at these prices, however I'm going to wait until I get confirmation of supply destruction of tankers from the companies before entering the trade.
The crazy profits they made this year have essentially primed the market allowing de-leveraging, share buybacks (EURN is fantastic) and a refilling of the coffers. For btc I come at it from a currency point of view; whereas all other currencies are becoming softer, btc is becoming harder. these past months have strengthened my bullish case for btc as I half expected btc to just die during recessions and liquidity events. However we've bounced back past 10k, which to me is very bullish going decades out.

Honestly, just buy stock. I'm currently holding EURN and DHT. They are by far the most well managed companies in the sector and have mostly VLCCs. The other companies are saddled with more debt which they need to repay before they could give back to shareholders. I have my eye on STNG (youngest and largest fleet) and TNK (atrociously undervalued). I'd wait for earnings reports to come out over the next month then time an entry based on future guidance.

Shipping is a cyclical industry where the companies make the most money when the supply of ships on the water is low and demand for oil is high. Meaning 2021 will probably not be pretty since COVID pseudo-lockdowns are still in place and demand for oil likely remains low.

No, PMs alone wont help you through a SHTF scenario. Guns ammo medical supplies food and tradable commodities will help you too.

Yes they are fun to clang against each other and hear the different rings. Yes they're fun to stack. Yes they will help you with saving your fiat money if you have a tendency to overspend or buy useless shit. Yes silver has other uses besides being a precious metal. Yes gold more or less will see you through tough times should you ever need to liquidate it. Yes silver has a chance to moon, though there are varying dates and predictions to this.

At the end of it all, its your money and you can spend it however the way you like.

I’ve been waiting in the shadows laughing at these cuck husbands who buy their wives range rovers instead of buying silver bullion... knowing that I’ll be face fucking their wives mouths for the 1.30$ it cost me to buy that silver dime.

Just yesterday at Whole Foods I seamlessly entered into conversation about Corona with a roastie milf that had a ring on her finger in the water aisle... and I said this is all a cover for trump to bring us back on a gold standard. Hard pass man.

PMG rules clearly state only hot girls may be used to post with for any purposes, up to, and including the encouragement of buying silver.

Please clear out your desk we have security ready to escort you out of the thread.

Sure just make sure to bolt it to the floor preferably upstairs. Or just bury it. Like other anons have said you could store it in like a bucket container with paint but sealed shut in the garage and save the $300.

Anyone else feel kinda sorry for national mint officials?

They used to be the heart of the financial system and their work was the most weighty business of state, now they make the monetary equivalent of casino tokens. Sad!

It's nowhere near the size of a quarter, it's slightly smaller than a Canadian Silver Dollar. There isn't a US coin that really compares in size with it, but it's a good deal larger than a half dollar.
