Typically I go off percentages, I don't tolerate more than 20% loss. With GME specifically I wrote off everything I put into it (bought calls) as a gamble. I sold most of what I had when it first passed 13, kept a few January calls as "for fun" acceptable losses.

I'd sell a call against this and turn it into a spread to reduce the cost basis and breakeven point. $110 strike is $4.55 bid right now, x3 = $1350 and reduces breakeven to $94.00. If it goes to 110 or more you still make $16+$4.55 each contract (or $6165), with max loss dropping down to $2700.
You can always adjust it later too since the delta of a $110 call is lower than your $85 call AND it has a higher theta. A lot of times when a stock has moved up, the theta decay is enough to erase the delta appreciation, so I can buy back the call at the same or lower amount than paid. Options are entirely about narrowing the price range you think the stonk will land at.
Unless your plan is to sell weekly covered calls (diagonals) against it.

Realistically with GME, I won't sell until the shorts pay up, and I can wait as long as I need to since this company is now stable and will have a bright future after a fresh start.

It goes up pretty quick for us but I know trade guys who played their cards right and move up as well.
