Yeah I have a few right now I am looking to throw money at:
CCW, AUN, maybe, MAYBE (BIG MAYBE) BHS now that its at .13

realistically its between CCW and AUN though. Might just sit on the cash for a week or so and see what happens, might bite me, might now... such is the game we play.

there will 100% be a dip, but if that dip is from 25$ to say 22-23%, or if that dip is from 30-27$, or from 35-30, we just cannot say for sure. Kinda feel like we already had the 27-23$ dip, so next dip is going to be a thirty something dollar dip back to 28-29$

Ebay gets their fees and the countless boomers retarded enough to buy chinese fakes and 49.99 "estate collection $120+ book value guaranteed!" grab bags clearly aren't helping.

It sucks for the chucklecucks and the certain flood of fakes going forward will create unnecessary trust problems for us and our legit bullion, but at least we aren't holding big bags of plated copper or steel

Pacifico Metals
>Near-term Lead & Silver producer in Australia
>Super cheap and undervalued share with loads of growth potential: share price 0.022AUD, was 0.017AUD last week
>Strong financials, low market cap: 66MAUD ($47M) market cap, 3MAUD in cash, 8.5MAUD total assets - 867,000AUD total liabilities = ~7.6MAUD total equity (89.8% equity ratio)
>Good circumstances: Partnered with China's largest lead smelting & silver producer company Yuguang (Pacifico 75% interest, Yuguang 25%), road infrastructure. 150km distance to Wynham Port from with concentrate will be shipped directly to China
>Advanced exploration project (Sorby Hills Project): Pre-feasibility study conducted in 8/2020 concluded 10-year life of mine, ~1.6 year return for investment (46% IRR), low costs, 807,000 dry tonnes/50kt Pb/1.5Moz Ag production per annum, total amount of payable concentrate 475.2kt Pb; 14.3Moz Ag (avg. grades 62% Pb; 580g/t Ag). Four of the known six deposits inside property were included in the PFS.
>Final investment decision to be made Q4 2021, meaning the mine will probably begin production as soon as 2022
>Future prospects: increasing mineral resources & reserves by exploring the property further, optimizing the processing circuit (via Dense Media Separation method) to increase throughput, exploration and development of other projects in Australia and Colombia.

Sincere thank you to the anon who recommended other anons to check this out a few threads back. Awesome company and project.

Does Mike Maloney know what hes talking about?
He uses weimar germany as an example a lot but he hasnt talked about how the hyper inflation was corrected. I'm also starting to understand why people like Gadhafi were assassinated for wanting to create gold backed currency. So to put it simply fiat currency is a jewish trick?

Maloney is a hack. With PMs you have all these guys like that, they constantly say it is going up no matter what. They're permabears, that say everything is going to hell constantly and then when something does they say they predicted it. They're right about the last 2 of the 7,000 crisis they've predicted.

FIAT has some serious problems, but we don't really know how far we can kick the problem down the road. If you have a long time horizon, it's smart to DCA into PMs. But, maybe shit will hit the fan next year, maybe it will be ten, maybe it will be 20. Who knows.

Replyin to anon from old thread, Austrian Economics is the only strand of economics that is logical in that it places individual human action at the starting point. Most modern strands of economics (stemming from Keynesian economics) attempt to mathematically model human behaviour, but when the models go wrong they believe it is easier to try and force people to conform to the models than to admit their models were incorrect. Keynesians believe governments have special knowledge that allows them to 'correct' what they view as failures of the market to provide goods and services. Austrians believe that governments have the same knowledge problem as any other individual or organisation in that they cannot model people's wants, motives, desires, time preferences etc (as they constantly change), and thus external manipulation of a market always causes more harm than good. This also applies to the manipulation of the stock market, housing market, interest rates etc.

Austrian economists tend to support gold as money and silver as currency because money is supposed to be a recognised medium of exchange, not a tool for governments or rulers to extort the public and enrich themselves. Keynesians hate PMs because it removes control of currency from government, meaning government has less power to meddle.

Also I haven't been involved in the Nazi/Austrian shitstorm. Do your own reading and come to your own conclusions

Interest rates on T bills were 8%+ from 1980-1990 that's why gold evened out. Then it took another 10 years (2000) for them to fall down to 6%.

Were about to hit 30 trillion on the national debt when this next stimulus bill passes. 5% interest on a 30 trillion debt is 1.5 trillion a year.

That means almost half of all American taxes will go to servicing the interest on the national debt. Do you think this will happen? It won't. The US Dollar is already a dead man walking. It is a mathematical and economic certainty at this point. Just a matter of time.

Gold and Silver will skyrocket this decade.

Exactly, they have no incentive to limit themselves like that. Everyone is fearing missing out on the moon mission but I predict we will get a golden buy opportunity first as these gov tokens start to roll out.

Also, a friendly shill for Pure Gold Mining to all - This is a good buy opportunity, check out the project. They're market cap is higher than most of the others people post here but the project is much less of a gamble, fully funded and all set to pour their first gold before New Years so a re-evaluation is expected around then

They do have one strong incentive, and that's to try and keep a digital dollar from shitting the bed so quickly that everyone loses faith in the dollar. Whether the Fed can prevent that from happening I have no idea, personally I don't think they can but I don't know what that looks like in terms of a timeframe. Zerohedge had a good article on this a while back and it's part of why I think the USD will die eventually (because euro banks are prepping for it to happen, and they sure as hell won't go to the yuan as a reserve cause no one trusts the CCP): https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/europe-has-been-preparing-global-gold-standard-1970s

What frightens me is, for the 'developed' modern world, various parties are getting better at modeling those things in massive leaps. 50 years from now we'll be living in some absolutely radical paradigm of total-information-awareness (for someone if not for individuals).

I agree with you, just sayin.

I have no issue with economists attempting to model consumer behaviour or attempting to model reality, after all these are valuable techniques for minimising risk and identifying areas in which individuals' desires aren't being served. The problem is when economists believe their models ARE reality, and again, that's where it all goes to hell because a model can never reflect the sum of human preferences. It is easier to force people to adhere to the model than accept being wrong and change the model, or admit that models are just that and not really an accurate depiction of reality.

It should be basic common sense that this is wrong, and yet that's what the entire strand of Keynesian economics subsists of, the idea that governments can and should dictate what people can and cannot do, because governments supposedly know people better than they themselves do. Or worse, governments 'know what is best' for you.

So the vertical axis shows the percentage of monetary reserves each nation holds in gold. Note that this isn't monetary supply, but actual, physical money and money equivalents in a vault somewhere. The vast majority of USD only exists digitally not as green cotton paper. The horizontal lines are the average values for the Euro nations, the world, the CBGA, and the US value.

This chart would suggest that nations with wildly different levels of economic success (Germany, Italy, Cyprus, France, fucking Greece) are all aligning towards holding 60%+ of their monetary equivalents in gold. If you were wanting to introduce a gold backed monetary union, it would be unfair to nations without much gold in comparison to the size of their economy. You could avoid this by getting everyone on the same page about stocking up on gold before the switch.

This is more apparent if you can get yearly data and see the change.

It's a good question and
>>23228901
explains it pretty well. The way I always think about public gold holdings is that gold is real money, and foreign currency reserves are either speculative investments or holdings for the purpose of purchasing a particular monopolised good (in the case of the USD, oil is the good). Gold reserves act as protection from a powerful country manipulating the value of their currency.

It would probably be worth looking into when those outlier countries acquired their gold reserves, i.e. has it been recent or have they held them for a long time. I'll do a bit of reading about this myself and see what I can find.

Thanks anon, I've read a bit of that and while I think the label of 'surveillance capitalism' is stupid, it is interesting to see how technology can modify users behaviour. There was a neat study done a while ago on how Google Maps would re-route drivers through suburban streets when traffic jams happened on main roads, and those roads ended up needing significant repairs because they weren't built for heavy traffic. In the long run you started to see more businesses opening in the air dur to their being more traffic, and the demographic changed from houses to mixed with shops and petrol stations.

The tech itself isn't really to blame, it's doing what it was made to do, the tech users aren't really to blame either, it's just an unforeseen consequence of a new technology interacting with reality. Hence again why modelling human behaviour never really works, because you can't predict human behaviour.

So, i want to get some CombiBars(as i think they're called).
thing is, should i go for Gold, Silver, or Platinum?
thing is, Gold is so much money into a single piece that even taking into account any situation i may need to use the precious metal, it might still be hard to not vastly 'overpay' what people are willing to settle on. But with silver, whiles its much more manageable in how much the bits are worth, you need so much more of it to have the same worth in terms of space.
So is platinum a good middle ground. its still maybe a good amount of worth into a single chunk that may be more than you need to part with, but not as bad by a good margin as Gold is. and it will still be more space than gold, but not vastly as much as Silver.
only issue i can think of is, without proofing methods, people might not trust its not just silver, and its not as well known so its intrinsic value via name recognition might affect it more.
