I don't know anything about DDS but their numbers look really good for something that I assume is like Sears. Short interest of float is apparently 146.36% with how fucked their share structure is, which is probably why it's been squeezing up consistently so far

almost neutral EPS, still paying dividends (this is probably what is hurting short sellers the most since they have to pay those), low debt, they own most of their stores, etc.
If I wasn't already in GME, I'd have put money in DDS in August

You know, I'm starting to think that margin + covered calls is a cheat code of some kind.
You buy 100 of a stock w/ cash, then another 100 with margin right? Then you write a covered call, you get 2 of course so you get double the premium. But then that premium you earned, well, you get margin on that too, so it's like you really just earned 4 times the premium. Really sounds like compound interest on steroids to me.

Yes, if let's say another coronavirus happens Covid-20, and you have all margin FNGU/TQQQ. Markets Drop 10%. You lose 30% and depending on how much margin, you might have margin calls, broker will force you to sell stock and accept loses.

FNGU/TQQQ are great when there's a crash or big dip. Would hop on...

Right now, I dont know...it's a gamble I'm not into that.

Margins should only be used when you're 100% certain. Best used on March 23.

QE is deflationary. Banks aren't lending out the money due to compliance with bank stress tests. That's why there's no inflation yet and the Federal Reserve is frustrated.

Also reason why Digital Dollar is being talked about.

The ONLY reason why we have even remote amount of inflation RN is because of stimulus.

That said I will go to the bank with him and will work out a way to get him invested in SPY and so on and make it look like it's all just his favourite boomer companies.

The guy was surprised when I told him that the fucking market averages 7% a year. He didn't even know the SP500. He didn't believe the market can go up that much.

take solace in the fact that you are here among frens. the thing is, nobody really cares about your physical disposition in this modern world of zoom calls, texting, and digital interaction. you are on one of the last forums with a free market of ideas. your ideas are you, and nothing else. the "tits or gtfo" meme didn't originate in misogyny, but moreover the point that calling out your gender proclivities was always a setup to color the discussion around preconceived perspectives of gender roles. i say this as a conservative. we really don't care about gender. just money.

Kek, I'll say its about winning and money. Started in late 2018. Only 1000 just to test things out, get my toes wet. Ended up losing half. 2019 came. Put a shit pot in buying AMRN stock. Rode it thru the ups/downs. Finally sold with about 4,000 extra. Decided to get serious. Dump in more money. 2020 came. Now I'm up over 100% and recently sold ABEO for another almost 4000 extra green bucks. My only flop was with ONTX but I made back that loss with a fast moving penny stock I got in on early this year.

Every time there's a massive dump in SILJ or SLV it's always a good day for me. Not because I got puts on it, but that I take whatever spare cash I have and go to my LCS for whatever I can get my paws on.

You have an excellent point on when it dumps, and that could even go into when it pumps. When silver hit $30 last July/August, I had no inclination whatsoever to offload anything. Probably wouldn't have made much anyway because you'll always pay premium, but when selling spot value is as good as you can get for it. Either way, it's something that if there is an economic collapse (which seems more likely by the day) it's a great hedge against that. And it never loses value against the dollar, so even when you die, just leave your kids at shovel and a map in the will.

Investing in the stock market is just another piece of the financial puzzle. And crypto...well, you never have to leave your house to go to the casino ever again lol

You've done enough just by investing in general, lol.

Middle class never invest in stocks because they're broke.

Thinking about it, the Federal Reserve is better off bailing out middle class loans like, credit cards, student and auto loans.

Buy them out and cap the interest rates at 0.5% or something like that.

Obviously QE of buying corporate bonds is not creating inflation, just propping the stock market and upper class wallets.

Digital dollar is also not a bad idea. Could initiate Mark Cuban's idea.
