Here's my theory regarding the price drop:
Only 10000 CORE will ever exist
Upcoming wBTC LGE requires farmers to market buy CORE to produce new LP.
Dumping the price of CORE before the LGE makes it cheaper to produce way more wBTC/CORE LP tokens.
Farmers will be able to mint way more LP for the same price than if CORE was high, improving the price floor over the long term (since current price levels are mostly hype)

The reality is it keeps going down with no signs of slowing. The news killed the momentum and the devs are slowing down. It will keep dropping until it actually hits the mythological price floor that it is acclaimed for, or until the pair is actually released.

I plan to buy back in when it is lower so I can have so much more CORE. I do believe in the project, but as of right now it is going nowhere but down until indicated as otherwise.
