Neither Porsche nor Shrekli got in trouble for their squeezes.

The most common speculative theory floating around is that Cohen intends to take GME private and pay for that using squeeze-profits. That's why he hasn't gone to 10% (though gotten as close to it as possible) because at 10% he would become an insider and be subject to the clawback rule.

A tender offer from RC would 100% trigger a squeeze because of share recall for voting.

This is all just speculation of course.

Also if you don't have any numbers to back it up, this is useless.
Additionally, I find the idea very unlikely. A pro trader with no additional assistance can hit 250% average a year (but can't grow the account indefinitely that way without branching out). With the huge accounts that institutions have to deal with, they're probably hitting far lower targets. You'd also think they'd entice customers by offering more than "losing to the SPY consistently" as their point of pride.

That depends on the IQ (race) of the baby, realistically. Humanity is growing dumber because smart people have less babies statistically. Do you think this is sustainable? Then do your part.

True. You have to decide that meaning for yourself, that is the beauty of free will.

Oh don't get me wrong, I definitely agree that Gamestop needs to pivot to an omni-channel strategy to succeed long term. They have a pretty clear example of what such a successful picot might look like in Best Buy.

My point was just how absolutely retarded of a comparison TRS actually is. You're comparing a company that went bankrupt due to external debt from a hostile leveraged buyout to a company with $5/ a share in net cash (that is liquid cash - liabilities on book)

I'm glad we found a use for that specific case, but it would have to be way more controlled and precise than that to be able to create a different element from say, oxygen or nitrogen.

The closest we could get is really fast travel from a resource location, to transformation site, and then ultimate end product destination. So maybe supersonic transport carriers and automated fast factories.

I also do some bookkeeping on the side and the absolute amount of money spent on pure bullshit is staggering. If I EVER had the money these guys made in a month, I'd be retired in a year's time. Seriously. One of my clients made like $6,000 in a single month (big for him, he averages 40k/yr) and he spent, I shit you not, $5,700 on food, cigarettes, and a vacation. That same month he had to pay 200 in overdraft fees.

This is an underrated pic.

Ching Chong flu increasing. It's going to get much worse in November/December.

Prediction time:

Ching chong flu will infect Biden around elections. Will likely be much worse for Biden than for Trump (who went balls deep in meds). Harris might be your new president by December.

Two, Recovery stocks will take a hit. Start thinking of PUTS on Airlines. ESPECIALLY if stimulus doesn't pass.

PUTS on Draftkings (SHOULD OF LISTENED TO ME LAST WEEK), Draftkings to 35.

Was an AMChad until Chang Wang flu bumped up. Likely to see AMC to 2.50-3. PUTS for now and calls in Late November.

Best pick of the month: UPS

IF you don't buy UPS, you hate making money.

nah i think the play on GME will evolve into something like OSTK if the board members would just wake up and take advantage of it

like not to the point of cryptocurrency dividends, but just getting to positive cash flow and re-introducing dividends would really fuck over short sellers hard, never mind share buybacks
My plan was to bail out by Q3 maybe Q4 but at this rate I'll probably only trim half of it by then and keep the other half to bank on that short burn

heck if I trimmed half of GME on Friday, i'd basically cover my initial cost basis entirely already. I'm greedy as fuck though and I don't wanna start trimming until at least $20 or (good) earnings report. Let's be honest, places that you can physically buy PC components are a cluster fuck. Online retailers like NewEgg are equally as shitty because there's 9 million different variations of literally every item. It would be way easier to return a defective graphics card or something directly to a GameStop for a refund or replacement than RMA to the manufacturer. Curate it all online and in-store to make it easier to buy PC components specifically for gaming. IF they wake up. they've had over a decade to wake up and haven't. Hell, in 2013 they had the scare when Microsoft initially announced the Xbox One as DIGITAL ONLY and that they were going to kill used games sales. Even though they walked that back (because they had to, espeically after Snoy had the infamous "how to share games on ps4" meme), they should have started planning ahead. They didn't. They run the same doomed business model today of up-selling warranties, selling used games, a membership that provides 0 benefits, and a crappy magazine (GameInformer at least used to be decent).
Shit even phyisical game rental market got taken over by a nobody (Redbox), something GS might have been able to break into easily and become the old-school netflix of gaming. Gamestop is the most pathetically ran company in existence. I honestly don't get the fascination with it here, I thought it was an ironic /biz/ joke to get retards to pump the worst stock you could possibly buy at first. No, I never shill stocks. I come to /smg/ to get shilled on. Shrooms just seem like the next logical step to me, but I could be completely wrong. Maybe there's still some biological and / or legal hurdles or some economic reasons why shroom stocks can't replicate the weed craze. You tell me.

Averaging down would be wise, I'll be averaging up but there's no difference. GME is a solid buy. And remember hindsight is always 20/20

in this case, yes, sell slightly OTM puts, if you get assigned, whatever you got it for cheaper than market at the time you placed the option order and can then sell a ATM covered call against it the next week. normally I am much more strategic with options and use iron condors with different ratios on each side and fine tune the curve but in this case with 100%+ imp volatility and almost no risk of bankruptcy this year, its easy money. General rule of thumb is high volatility = sell premiums, low volatility= buy premiums, if you have reason to believe the true volatility does not match imp vol.

>Was thinking of just holding and not buying anything until after the election. Still contributing to my retirement accounts though.

Doing the same, but more and more feel like this is basically counting on a contested election as neither Trump nor Biden winning are "surprise" events. I should check what that markets did with Bush vs Gore, but even that isn't comparable to what a contested election would do with today's ideological context.
