Why would you not even have a token stack if you truly had been making 180k (now 200k) a year for 30 years? If you own the mining company why be afraid to name it? not like the boss is going to be pissed if you are the boss. Checked.
The definition of a Good Deal on Ebay depends on what you're buying, but for common, circulated coins a Good Deal would be at or below spot. I don't think it's possible to get rounds and bars below spot without buying a fake.
I know of good deals on Ebay, but I'm not going to tell you about any of them because you'll just snatch them up. If you do some research beforehand and know what you're doing you can get some amazing deals. I got pic related (0.5 ozt. ASW) at spot back in August, and I've done a lot better than that. Canadian Proof sets will usually sell slightly below spot, that would be a good place to start looking.

Quite a lot if we are talking millionaires in assets, but might just be my social circle. I had several friends buy into bitcoin at about 20$ who became way to rich to ever stay around here, some who just got into the 200-500k range like you. Would have been nice if I had taken them up on throwing a grand at it back then, but 20/20 hindsight and all that.

Obviously no one smart enough to make a million is sitting on that in cash for any length. It wasnt uncommon for 18-20 year old guys to pull in 100-200k maple buxx a year with no education where I am up until oil crashed. If you were trained, sober, and experienced many made more. Some were smart and retired before 30, most blew it on hookers and blow.

Heres an interesting story I have never been able to follow up on. The lost gold from the Queen Charlotte's. A ship full of Hudson's Bay company workers, filled with gold dug from a secret Haida gold find, becomes stranded on rocks and is attacked by natives. The workers flee the ship to an American boat filled with miners, only to watch the boat burn and slip below the waves carrying tons of gold ore. To date I ve never been able to figure out if anyones gone after this lost gold, its in shallow water not far from shore and would be easy to dive with scuba gear. How much of the burned wreck remains above the sand though is anyones guess. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HH-0MeueHu4

Theres also surprisingly a wiki page about it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_Charlottes_Gold_Rush

>>23167578
yes it was a pretty good sized boat, and it was an early adopter of iron and copper construction, but it was burned to the water line. Some info says that the whole boat was basically exposed above water, including a Haida carving on a stolen brass cannon show the boat out of the water on rocks. The workers said though it was only hung on rocks and could have broken free if it had the right tide, so it couldnt have been too far from shore. If anything is left of this ship, I am sure modern tech could find it easily.

I'm really glad a lot of anons are seeing for what it is.

when /g/ got subverted, it was more gradual, because there was so little pushback. here there's really a fight to subvert. once it gets rolling, you got both sides (whichever they may be on that day!!! not the same everyday) going teeth and nails at it. it may actually be the same source.

>>23166839
I think they keep going back to the drawing board. what WILL convert /pmg/? how do we BREAK the board? every time it's something new. I won't be surprised if they start posting anime girls holding silver coins with david star on obverse and swastika on reverse.

>>23166839
>JIDF
long story
> when antifa started out, they tried to call out the extreme voices on the right. they got subverted with accounts pretending to be antifa, and voicing very extreme opinions (sounding like alt-right should be killed off, exterminated, executed, etc). those were actually alt-right users pretending to be antifa. at that point the damage was done, and there was nothing they could do to go back, as 1. actual extreme left members joined the antifa movement and started sounding just that extreme, and 2. anonymity makes traceability and proveability of framing very difficult
tl;dr
the whole point of this is the minute they're spotted, they deflect blame to another party. classic russian tactic. they did the same on /g/ when we started pushing back. every time someone called attention to disinformation, he's a schizo needing meds, a roastie, a shit-streeting pajeet, or a workplace diversity tranny. not just one reply, a swarm of them, making the accusation "real".

No shit a PORTABLE XRF WITH LESS JUICE THAN A FUCKING DENTAL XRAY MACHINE won't go past 2mm. But that wasn't what you were bitching about in the last thread. Because there, you wouldn't shut up about how none of this family of spectroscopy can see past a few microns of depth.

That's why you use the table top version that doesn't run on A FUCKING DRILL BATTERY and actually flirts with needing an inspector to permit using the Xray source if youwant to see at depth. Fun fact, retard: you actually get more easily detectable Xray fluorescence emissions from the heavier elements since they are more energetic on getting ejected from the sample. This means that you get a greater detection depth with PM samples than you would with virtually any polymer.

And if you actually took 20 minutes to read about how and why your equipment worked, you wouldn't have shown your ass. I bet your company lost thousands on sending off for lab assays because you were convinced 'XRF-man bad'. Retards like you are the reason I don't let anyone touch equipment until they can explain the principle of operation to me.

>Bayhorse is “not convincing” but yet he has a major position in Aurcana, which has terrible management and entered into litigation with Eric Sprott of all people, and Equity Metals, which I learned is a complete scam of a company that changed its name after fradultently misleading investors and then rug pulling on a Christmas Eve? I don’t trust this list or the guy compiling it.

Never knew this actually. I posted the Silver Sitfolio here once or twice just to give people another starting-point for researching silver stocks, so that they don't have to take my word on everything.

https://www.goldventures.org/blog/silver-sitfolio

He has Equity Metals in his "small" list, and lists not merely Bayhorse Silver but also Arizona Silver as "not convincing." Everyone here already knows the case for BHS, but how on earth can somebody be in a silver bull market and not like AZS. It's a ceo favourite; good management, no warrants, high insider buying, excellent properties, consistently excellent results, mcap still only $15 million. Also, how can he have Dolly Varden as "small"; that's a quintessential silver property where you literally can't lose if silver goes up; I can't think of a more robust silver small cap, and even now it's still so cheap. And why would you have an Argentinian miner (Abraplata Rescources) as a "huge" position. I also see Monarca Minerals in the "small" list, which I have read bad things about. At least he has Impact and CCW in "big"; also interesting to see that he has Klondike Silver in "normal," given the ultra-low mcap, and highly leveraged risk-reward nature of the stock. I also very strongly believe in it.

Over here in Finland? ...Possible I guess, we have the third largest gun ownership in the world (12% registered owners, plus many illegal guns hidden somewhere after WW2). But we have a strong national spirit and good natural resources (forests). Our government/army also has many hidden reserves for the case of a disaster, and in a state of war the entire country becomes a hive where everything is nationalized and every man, woman and child does everything in their power to help the state. I too will be fighting in the greens if a war, or a war-like scenario occurred. If a situation like a closed-off city happened, it would of course be hell on earth regardless of any of that. But if it's only extreme poverty, I think most of us would manage without having to experience violence. Hard to say.

Think it's interesting, also, to compare the stuff in Silver Sitfolio with Sprott's portfolio. Dolly Varden, Silver One, Irving Resources, would all be either "huge" or "big" positions, if judged against other silver stocks only. Irving is gold-silver, but, as far as I can see, SVE and DV are Sprott's largest silver explorers after DSV, which dwarfs anything else, both in size, and in the attention which he gives to it on his podcasts. Although he's naturally biased towards DSV, because he got in there so early with such a large investment, and has made so much money out of it.

Canada Silver Cobalt Works has excellent potential; mcap still only $55 million, and has some of the highest-grade new silver discoveries in the world. 250 OUNCE per ton assays--not gram, but OUNCE. Will post a basic overview below, but just wanted to add also that the CCW ceo board is one the most entertaining chat-rooms on the entire website. It's full of absolute lunatics who are constantly complaining and arguing with one another, but you can see the passion which all of them have for the stock. That's what I like to see, people who are dubious about what they hold and constantly questioning it, but still can't and won't sell no matter what, because they know how valuable it is. They also tend to talk off-topic about anything and everything. I would invest in CCW if nothing else than for the entertainment-value.

"Diamond drilling aims to build and upgrade the maiden Inferred mineral resource that includes 7.56 million ounces of silver in zones 1A and 1B of the Robinson Zone (27,400 tonnes @ 8,582 g/t Ag or 250 oz/ton at an average cut-off grade of 258 g/t AgEq);

Only a fraction of Castle East has been drill-tested. Historically, the area received little exploration attention due to extremely limited diabase outcrop (unlike the western side of the Camp);

The past producing Castle, Capitol and O'Brien mines, all within a 2-km radius of the Robinson Zone, are interpreted to comprise a large silver-rich system of abundant vein networks that follow the dip of the diabase toward Castle East in the heart of the Miller Lake Basin;

"Very high-grade silver extends more to depth in the Gowganda Camp (toward/near the lower contact) than previously recognized;

Sub-horizontal and sub-vertical fault structures are key controls on mineralization and they extend throughout the Gowganda Camp;

The Nipissing diabase, the primary host of very high-grade silver mineralization in the Gowganda Camp, is now known to thicken in a higher temperature system at Castle East;
Total volume of the diabase at Castle East is estimated to range from 970 million to 1.45 billion cubic meters, vs. an estimated 69 million cubic meters for the Castle mine. The extent of actual mineralized diabase at Castle East is still unknown, and it is too early in the exploration stage to determine potential quantity and grade of the broader Castle East exploration target."

It's standard Greenbacker trash. Written by a fanatic anti-semite who thinks that Hitler was a genius, and that all you need is socialism and MMT to create a utopia. It's exactly the same as The Money Masters and Ellen Brown's Web of Debt. Posted Gary North's refutations of this kind of stuff a few days ago. The Greenbackers got a brief vogue on the internet during the Ron Paul era, by parasitically attaching themselves to the anti-Fed movement. But they don't believe in the gold standard. Their idea is that you can print infinite money and pay for all the social programs you like, so long as Congress does it directly. This is a quotation from the book: "The gold standard wrought havoc on the American economy and enabled private bankers to withhold loans and restrict the money supply at will."

Gary North talks about Ellen Brown here, but it applies just as well:

https://www.garynorth.com/public/department141.cfm

"Ellen Brown is devoting her life to a cause. She wants Congress to take over the printing presses and provide 100% of America's money: fiat money, with no gold or silver backing.

She says that if we allow this, Congress can then:

1. Get rid of the income tax
2. Pay off the national debt
3. Pay off Social Security
4. Without any price inflation

Her 2007 book, The Web of Debt, became a bestseller within the Patriot movement. This indicates the extraordinary intellectual vulnerability of the Patriot movement. Its members cannot distinguish conservatism from radical leftism. This book promotes the following:

The Populist economics of America's far Left
A vast expansion of Federal government welfare
Pure fiat money: printing press money
Total Federal government control over money: "Obama dollars"
Legal tender laws that force people to accept Obama dollars
The American Civil War as a great engine of economic growth
Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal as a great economic program
The gold coin standard as a terrible evil that restrains the state

"Ellen Brown is the latest in a long line of pro-fiat money, anti-gold currency, monetary statists who have infiltrated the conservative movement.

They have accomplished this for over 50 years by the tactic of wrapping themselves in a flag of opposition to the Federal Reserve System. I call them false-flag infiltrators.

False-flag infiltrators are remnants of a left-wing American political movement of the late 19th century: the Greenbackers, named after the green currency issued by the North during the Civil War. These paper bills were unbacked by gold. Consumer prices rose by 75%, 1861-65. The Greenbackers were opposed to the gold standard because it kept prices low. They wanted the government to inflate the currency, so that debtors could pay off their debts with cheap money.

Ellen Brown is a Keynesian, a mercantilist, and a left-wing Populist who promotes the construction of a Federal welfare state by means of fiat money. She is quite clear about what she wants from the Federal government.

"The availability of funds for a whole range of government services that have always been needed but could not be afforded under the "fractional reserve" system, including improved education, environmental cleanup and preservation, universal healthcare, restoration of infrastructure, independent medical research, and development of alternative energy sources." [Web of Debt, p. 458.]

This is Nancy Pelosi's vision for America. Is it yours?"

Started the day with a decent scrapsnack, not anything really remarkable, just a solid clear-cut square deal of the sort that you don't need any experience at all to recognize (a solid pic of the Sterling stamp was also in the image gallery) so I wanted to show any aspiring scrappers what the easy, no-experience-necessary scrap looks like.

A good dozen other people had looked at this sterling cup, obviously 3.8oz av on the scale and BIN priced at $40 +$5 shipping but they must've been sleepy, usually solid deals like this don't last through the 4th view.

Current spot value is $81, so at ~$47.25 total with tax you have wide enough margins to pay the refinery and still get appreciably below-spot silver returned. That's how I keep stacking for less than $20ozt and how many of you may likewise be able to get a heavier stack for your dollar.

This is a word-for-word quotation from your book. "The gold standard wrought havoc on the American economy and enabled private bankers to withhold loans and restrict the money supply at will." It literally says that the gold standard is an evil Rothschild scheme to enslave mankind. It proudly gives quotations from Hitler where he speaks about his disdain for the gold standard. What is it that makes the infiltrators from /pol/ think that their natural home is a in precious metals thread? You live in a fantasy world where all you need to be prosperous is a dictator with a paper-money-printing machine. Paper money isn't sound money. Sound money is gold. If you're a Greenbacker, you're no different from the people who are in power now. Hitler was a Keynesian, Greenbackers are Keynesians. All that Hitlerites or Greenbackers say is that a dictator or Congress should print the paper money and fund the enormous socialist welfare state, instead of having a central bank do it. What we need is a return to sound money, not a change in who is printing the unsound money. Unsound money always leads to disaster. In Hitler's case, it led not merely to economic ruin, but was used to build up a warfare-state which caused the deaths of tens of millions.

"Why do conservatives swallow this witches' brew of statism and inflation? Because they do not understand monetary theory. On monetary theory, the Greenbackers are Keynesians. They believe what Ben Bernanke believes: that it is possible to avoid inflation, avoid recession, and attain economic growth by having a committee of experts decide how much money to print. The Chicago School economists (monetarists) think the same thing. The debate is about who decides how much money to create after Congress has set up the committee of experts."

New Yorker here, that’s the minimum tax rate and most counties are at least 7% to send more shekels to Israel. The only way to avoid sales tax is to buy at least $1,000 worth of gold or silver at a time, and numismatic coins are still taxable no matter how much you spend

RE anime coins,

I had discussed it on here before, I am able and willing to buy blanks, but getting 3d designs on them is the major hurdle for a small production run on anything. I could feasibly get etched designs, but its effectively going ot be a flat coin with the anime etched on.

Great because it means many many designs for no real extra cost, but it wont look/feel the same as coins with relief. would anons still wnat those?

Nice pickups.

Chris Duane (of Silvershield) amuses me, he is probably the most zealous silversperg I've ever come across. He is way too high off his own product and seems to enjoy entertaining grandiose delusions about "silvershield becoming the money of conscious kings and queens" a bit much, but my own instincts and beliefs regarding silver overall are parallel and almost as crazy, so I like to listen and dream with him (Bix Weir too for that matter) even though I don't make trades based on their "colorful" input.

I dont know if I really believe thay but I'm not selling these pieces anyways - part of my deep stack.
In regards to next week, since we broke 25 and stayed above for close I would wager we go all the way back up to 27 by the end of Tuesday and maybe hover around there until it breaks. Once 27 breaks and holds next stop is 30. This time I think it will rip through 30 like its nothing.

>> No.23173650

Have you ever had anything etched?

The coin blank is quite literally flat, just a circle. The etcher then just puts small lines a fraction of a MM deep to draw designs with high detail, but they are 2d like a comic book as opposed to most coins which are 3d due to high relief

>at least we've now reached the point that individuals are actually getting money and not just banks and corporations

There is no "at least" about that. MMT is when the end of the system comes. The people in power never wanted us to get to this point. The banker trick was propping the system up by buying bonds, and diverting the money-printing into asset-bubbles. Asset-bubbles and artificially low interest-rates, have, of course, now completely trashed the real economy. But now that money has to be given directly to the people, in order to prevent a violent revolution, inflation will run wild in consumer prices. MMT dooms a fiat currency to swift destruction; which is, incidentally, why paper-money states are so quick to start wars, in order to raid the wealth of the vanquished. At any rate, once things do collapse, then, if people don't understand that unsound money and MMT were the cause of our collapse, but are instead persuaded to demand more of them, the system will be rebooted with FedCoin, in order to enslave us entirely. You won't be able to buy PMs with FedCoins, only exactly what they allow you to buy; and your deposits will be cut off if you ever become a political dissenter. What we need is sound money, small government, and respect for private property. That is the only path to prosperity. Giving the government the power to create unsound money, whether directly, or indirectly via a central bank, always leads to inefficiency in the economy, and tyranny in the state.

When considering how high the GDX will go, look at this chart rather than 10-year or 20-year nominal one. We're going back to 1984 in the gold miners, not 2011. Also, you have to bear in mind that the GDX pays dividends. Newmont, for example, pays $1 per share, and that will only get better as the price of gold goes up. I only buy silver juniors, not the GDX, because I want far greater leverage to PMs than the GDX affords; but even people who buy the GDX are going to become among the wealthiest people in the world.

The rectangular pieces are vodka tokens as well. Rusbro said they were very popular in the 00s-10s, they were put inside the bottles and part of the gimmick was the healthful antimicrobial properties of silver (when distilled Russian alcohol just isn't enough!) so hundreds of different "collectible" tokens were made. I saw a set of miniature replica historic Russian coins on eBay and they're pretty awesome desu.

But Alexander Hamilton believed in protectionist tariffs, high taxation, public debt, and other things which I don't like. I also don't like central banks, and see them as unnecessary. On the other hand, in some ways, Alexander Hamilton is unjustly abused on the internet, because of Greenbackers. He wanted a central bank partly because he wanted to put the U. S. on a gold standard, in other words on a system of sound money. People started to hate central banks because of the Ron Paul Revolution in 2008; and the Greenbackers, attaching themselves to that movement, implied that gold was a part of Hamilton's evil scheme, and that it would be better to go back to a system of Colonial Scrip. They deluded and misled the Ron Paul supporters by doing this; because the Ron Paul was against the Fed because he wanted a return to gold, whereas the Greenbackers want to abolish the Fed simply in order to have Congress print paper money directly, and employ MMT. This would be 100x worse than Hamilton's gold-backed central bank.

Based.
Austrian economics is the only way.
Nazi faggots are just economic leftists that believe the same MMT bullshit that bernie and AOC does.
Keep up the good fight against these economic illiterates, anon.

That's exactly what happened and exactly why I spent three or four days shitposting and calling him a scammer. I've cooled off now though.
