yes, why didn't they do this when btc was under $6k

Grayscale doesn't care what the price is, they hold the BTC and issue shares on the stock market while taking a yearly fee.

Why didn't they buy at $1000 lmao? You can't exactly click 'market buy' when dealing with $100,000,000 amounts. Not to mention how unwieldy decision making of this scale must be and how volatile BTC is. In a few years governments will be hedging with BTC and retards like you will ask why they didn't buy at $60,000.

My guess is that they know all markets are about to take a dive. Election coming and all. So they are triyng to decouple Bitcoin from the S&P and use it as an store of value.

Well think about it, Bitcoin is just a fiat currency that anyone can access with little trouble that has the hardest monetary properties imaginable.

Whilst the governments of the world print more and more paper and create new digits Bitcoin actually tightens how much new bitcoins are created every 4 years.

As a store of value it isn't preferable to gold and silver but it is much MUCH better then government currencies.

>btc = fiat?
>Fiat money is a government-issued currency that isn't backed by a commodity such as gold. Fiat money gives central banks greater control over the economy because they can control how much money is printed.

i hate boomer coin too, but i think you're just retarded.

BTC could actually become the global reserve currency holy shit. It would take government intervention to stop it and even then I’m not sure they can. Is it just that the global elite are all technologically illiterate boomers so they don’t see the looming threat of BTC engulfing all other global currencies? Or am I missing some fatal flaw in Bitcoin?
