Chico pajeets seem to have all gotten dumped on and given up. Does any true /biz/nessman here have an idea if STAKE is worth buying? Even if the chain is cool and all, wtf is the token used for?

>> No.23131214

I don't know lad, I am accumulating Stake and Sora because they are the lowest cap coins that Chico recommended and I also had them noted down earlier for further research.

>>23131214
>accumulating
This word already fires neurons in my brain telling me theres curry nearby.
Lowcap indeed compared to how much I have heard about it and what projects have moved there. Still, the token seems useless.

I am not even shilling it man.

If I wanted to shill I would tell you about my Hakka and Pickle bags.

I put money into about 40 alts in the last 7 days or so. STAKE and Sora have been part of my 'more solid' projects just on the fact chico and others shilled it.

40 alts? I usually have 4 coin max in portfolio at once. Are you predicting another altseason?

I know lol, but they were fairly carefully selected.

Small amounts for around half and then graduated upwards to the better picks.

Two coins I was quite happy putting a small chunk into, DPI and SDEFI. These are Defi indexes.

I got some good exposure to the market overall.

>>23131669

44 Alts to be exact. I already held a good amount of BTC, ETH, LINK, HNS etc.

I have been sitting on the sidelines with cash.

With the recent crashes, I put my first chunk of cash into the market for good exposure in case of a perpetual rise like the roaring 1920's due to government pumping out money.... BUT, on the sidelines I am still holding/accumulating cash from my work. If the market really tanks, I will buy again, whilst still holding some cash.

I am also sitting on a good amount of Pokemon cards, Harry Potter cards, Illuminati cards, and cards from another card game that I will not reveal. Also got pm, antiques etc too.

All I need is a fricking house, hopefully crypto can fix that for me.

I bought BTC at the $3.4k bottom in 2019. Over 50% in BTC/ETH with the goal of getting more BTC/ETH too.

I am looking to also get exposure to a large amount of the good alts for the alt manias of the future.. I am still scaling in.

By the way, I cannot reccomend enough having a good chunk of sDEFI and DPI to just have some safe general exposure to Defi

It's an L2.
>fast and low fee stable (Shown in reddit demo and you can transfer for yourself to see)
>bridge to/from ETH mainnet (functional)
>functional XDAI blockchain DEX (Honeyswap)
>50 or so coins already bridgable
>OMNIbridge to convert any ERC20 to XDAI currently in the works
>Functional staking, STAKE gov token is avaliable on XDAi and Eth
I've been in since $2 and have no intention of selling soon, as far as my research goes its the best L2 you could invest in.

>> No.23132814

xdai-Stake might be a cool and useful chain, but by not making fees required to be paid in STAKE, there's really no point in holding STAKE. Sure you can stake it but the rewards aren't worth having to hold this coin for the long term.

>> No.23132982

stake will never gain adoption.

>> No.23133043

>>23132982
The xdai chain already has adoption. I still dont know about the token itself though.

Why didn’t they do this, it makes perfect sense

Stablecoin means gas fees don’t vary by market fluctuations. It’s consumer friendly.

>> No.23135892

>>23131017
imo the recent dumps are a cascade effect of a few big sell offs rather than any big change with Stakes prospects.

I’m betting on it capturing hype value as time goes on but the short term price will be determined by the sentiment of a few whales for now.

>> No.23135980

>>23134046
No L2s have adoption because none are ready yet, including STAKE. Difference is, shit like Optimism and OMG for payments actually have a chance at being adopted in the future, whereas STAKE is just a fucking shitcoin shilled by stoners and pajeets.

It’s amazing how quickly this coin died after Reddit punted on the bake off announcement.

>> No.23136118

>>23135980
It dumped before that because a huge whale sold off and it caused a massive knock on effect of sell offs.

>> No.23136126

>>23135980
I disagree. In my honest opinion (I could be wrong) adding another step in this whole process is not going to be user friendly, esp for retards. Only thing that I think has a chance is arbitrum just because it’s done on the back end. The user should not know that it’s there.

>> No.23136535

>>23136126
Are you familiar with Optimism or OMG? There’s no extra layer it runs in the background

>> No.23136572

>>23131017
Of course it’s worth buying.

STAKE will be used for:

>governance token
>multi-staking token to earn on multiple chains
>earn interest off DAI on xDai
>enjoy safe APY with STAKE earnings (up to 15% APY)
>farm other tokens with it

Still not all in?

This is really funny because some of the coolest projects in Ethereum right now on xDAI.

Gnosis is making the full transition to xDAI. Proof-of-attendence protocol recently chose xDai over Optimism despite telling Vitalik publicly they would go with Optimism. Oh, and Dark Forest—the most popular game for ETHheads right now—transitioned to xDai.

The network is now pushing over 40k transactions every day.

Now tell tell me, does this sound dead to you? To me, it sounds extremely early. Let’s see who’s right.

Then how can you support other L2s when they all have far fewer? You’re a shill, get lost you loser.
