I really don't get it. Publicity is growing every day. Numerous charitable causes, proven community staying power, and yet every day it dips lower and lower and lower. We've almost as much volume as Litecoin and yet... well just look at it.Is somebody dumping out for a huge pump? What the shit is going on?
>>230825Daily reminder to HOLD
>>230843>What the shit is going on?Nothing is going on. That's the issue. Wait half month or so and we'll witness the next uptrend.
>>230845I was considering sinking $500 loose change into it while it's low. I have this gut feeling like it's about to shoot to 400 satoshi, and soon too.
>>230847The issue is that bitcoin is taking a huge dump as well which naturally affects dogecoin in buying power. We're more tied to it than it is healthy still. 119 is a good price to buy at sure but I would wait maybe two days and see what happens.

So, yesterday for our work lunch order, I had one of my coworkers pay in doge. Everyone in the office was really interested and like "Really? He really paid you with a virtual currency? Whaaaat?"I helped him get his mining rig set up a month or so ago, and so when he didn't have any money on him he offered me Dogecoin and of course I took it. Just thought I'd share that little story with you guys, like I said my office was all talking about it and there was hype.
DOGE IS DEAD
>>230852BTC is sinking, and we're sinking against it even faster. Shit man, I don't know. I think it might even go lower.I'm torn between cashing out the 500K I have now into some other crypto on the up-and-up or just into BTC, or doubling down on DOGE.
>>230870I know right? Almost stressing.

>>230879It's never too late.

If you're looking for free dogecoins, you can get them at freerolls at pokershibes.com - not many people around so a lot of the same people keep picking them up every hour.
Also, I'm selling dogecoin for digitalcoins. So if anyone wants doge, I can sell you some if you want to get rid of the crashing and terrible alt coin DGC :)
What the fuck

>>234027Frozen FundsIn preparation of the following, we have with immediate effect stopped the possibilities to withdraw BTC, LTC, FTC and TRC. All incoming deposits will also not be credited to the users accounts for the time being. On 24th March 2014 we will be freezing the current BTC, LTC, TRC and FTC accounts, then perform the below distribution of the available coins and reenable deposits and withdrawals. This action will also require us to delete all open sell orders for BTC, LTC, FTC and TRC.As you may very well be aware, we had two incidents last year that lead to a loss of a significant number of BTC, LTC, FTC, TRC. We had communicated at that time that we will be covering those losses from our income, which we have done so far. We had enough coin balances in our cold wallet to upkeep our platform and the positive cashflow enabled us to gradually refill the wallets.Unfortunately we had large fund withdrawals in the last weeks which have lead to a complete depletion of our cold wallet balance and we are now facing the option of either closing the site with significant unrecoverable losses for all or to work out a solution that allows the exchange to continue to operate and gradually pay back the losses. We have obviously chosen the later and hence are going to do the following: 1. We will introduce an additional balance type called "Frozen Funds". Funds in this balance type cannot be used to trade or withdraw. Those are the balances that the exchange will gradually pay back and hence transfer back to the available balance over time. 2. We will move all current balances for BTC, LTC, TRC and FTC to the "Frozen Balance", i.e. your balance will be set to 0. 3. We'll take the current available cold storage balance and distribute it based on the below described distribution logic. 4. Monthly we will take the net profit of the exhchange and credit back that amount distributed to the users based on the described distribution logic.(cont)
>>234071The freezing of the balances is a one-time action, it does not affect future deposits in any ways.Distribution logic50% of the amount will be distributed top down and the other 50% will be distributed bottom up.Top down means: credit the amount from the largest account balance down to the smaller accounts Bottom up: credit the amount from the smallest account balance to the larger accounts.ExampleUser 1: 5 BTCUser 2: 4 BTCUser 3: 3 BTCUser 4: 3 BTCUser 5: 3 BTCUser 6: 3 BTCUser 7: 1 BTCAmount to distribute: 12 BTC:Step 1: Top down distribute 6 BTC: User 1: Credit 5 BTC User 2: Credit 1 BTC, remaining frozen balance = 3 BTCStep 2: Bottom up distribute 6 BTC: User 7: Credit 1 BTC User 6: Credit 3 BTC User 5: Credit 2 BTC, remaining frozen balance = 1 BTCThis approach has the advantages that all users will eventually receive their funds, though the timeframe depends on the monthly volume available new deposits and users are not penalized, thus supporting the ongoing operations of the platform fund withdrawals from the available funds are guaranteed, no surprises or unecessary delaysWe believe that this is the best way forward and hope for your support and understanding.

you know what? dogecoin is actually doing really well.why does no one realize this?take a look at the current coin situation, especially the altcoin market.- MtFag fucked up- bitcoin falling- altcoins in freefall- literally TONS of new altcoins every day- new altcoins dead on arrival, not even selling in the first minutes on market like they used to- scrypt ASICs mass produced and already mining in HUGE ASS FARMS- tons of people panic selling doges- tons of merchants selling doges they made with their shops for $- dogecoin devs getting too smug- quite a lot of incompetence in the dev teamALL THIS and doge is stable for days at ~120.this is a fucking serious situation and doge is still amazingly stable.if there were not the problems I stated, doge would probably be over 400 already but on we could have been really dead by now already.overall this coin may not technically really different to other alts but its history made it to something special that actually DOES have future.even haters can't deny that dogecoin achieved lots of things many people didn't expect.

>>234496Amdoge what's up with PND? I've been diligently mining with my potato waiting for good news...
>>234536Multipool incoming and PoS is being researched, get hype.
>>234540And this will do what, exactly?
>>234542Multipool will eat walls with miner's hashrate and PoS will... i don't know ask someone else.
>>234544PoS will remove the mining part with GPUs and will add an interest rate to the amount of coins you've collected before the switch from PoW. Combine that with the multipool and you have a constant pump going.
>>234549Shit, interest on Doge? Thats going to be odd, to say the least.

>>234908When it was at 15% it was a shot in the dark investing in them. Now that they have an exchange that deals with USD the game has changed. As long as they don't gox us they'll have a steady stream of profits.
>>234746Yeah.. I was surprised to see my Steve Buscemi Pandacoin when I opened this thread today... Things were a lot better on /g/. Back then Dogecoin's future was bright...
>>234911They don't have exchange that deals with USD. They promise us one, but now they don't have. And their volume is shit. They have 0.65 BTC in all buy orders in DOGE/BTC. They gave ZERO buy orders in LTC/BTC.

is Doge still minable?I got into this back when I had a shitty laptop and now I finally got a new pcHow many doges would I be able to get per hour of mining with a 7770?
Profits on altcoins have been so shitty lately.I'm close to retiring my mining rig and using the cards for supercharged gaming.

Hello fellow shibes.I already posted this in fellow PND thread, but I thouht I'd share with you as well.I'm developing a small webapp that will let you build your personal dashboard. Other sites decide how you should view the data you want. With this you decide how you want to view your data. It's a very eraly stage for now, like a proof-of-concept. You are welcome to try it out, tho. 1Dash.netOne you're there you need to register first, then login. Then you will be presented with a default layout. You can change that as you see fit, but REMEBER TO SAVE your layout with every change (floppy button, top right). There is ONLY ONE FUNCTION that kinda works, and that's "charts". You can display as many as you want, in whatever size you want. Add them with top right menu, then set your trading pair with the "cog" button on the chart. There are some 300 trading pairs, all actual live data from Swisscex.Have fun, and please let me know what you think.
>>237279Quick Q&A Time:Q: What is this?A: It is a user-defined dhasboard, YOU decide what info you want to see at a glance and how you want to see it. Easy to use and actually useful.Q: Why did you do this?A: I found a lack of a toll like this. Every site you go everyone KNOWS how you want your info presented. This bugged me.Also, I support PND, because it's awesome. Having a service exclusive to the coin will help it prosper, and give it the value it deserves.Q: The visuals suck/The site's slow!A: They do for now/It is for now. Bare with it.Q: I can't see shit.A: You need to register and login. You won't recieve any error or confirmation messages (for now), sorry.Q: I lost my password.A: Just make a new account.Q: Will the accounts be permanent?A: As far as I can try to save them, don't count on it. It's a proptotype/prrof-of concept kind of thing, I actually think of throwing the whole thing away and rewriting groud-up.Q: How long with the alpha be online?A: I'll keep it up at least until next monday.Q: Are you kidding me?! I can't even delete widgets!A: While this should be trivial, I didn't have time to implement/test it. Bare with it for now.Q: I can't set countdowns.A: While this should be easy, I didn't have time to implement/test it. Bare with it for now.Q: The stat are faux/only two coins.A: This will be more tricky than you might think. It will take some more time.Q: I can't set the multichart.A: It's just a proof of concept. While implementing user controls should be easy, I didn't have time to implement/test it. Bare with it for now.
>>237280Q: What's the catch?A: Some really advanced features will be available to donors. Only PND accepted. I don't want it to be "crippled" to free users, I want it to be really useful without ever having to donate, but we'll see.Hosting costs will be a limiting factor. This will need to at least break even. Time will show, I haven't thought this out yet.Q: Why not ads?A: I hate ad.Q: If almost nothing works, why are you making this public?A: I need to find out user priorities. That means, what you'd like to see implemented first.Q: What's the ETA for launch?A: I'll try to sync the launch with the PND multipool launch.Q: So, how can I contact you?A: I'll be monitoring this thread. You are welcome to share screenshots of your dashboards, pic related, I'm really curious of what people make of it, even if for now it's just charts.
