Where my CAPPAS at?

Seems like the bleedout is finished from previous highs and trend reversal in full froce. A lot of it probably has to do with the fact that synthetics mainnet is launching this month.

Can this shit get any comfier bros?

I think this is in desperate need of a shakeout. WHo's with me?

>> No.23096788

obligatory copy-pasta
note: perpetuals post-poned until synthetics launch

*Cap.finance is a decentralized platform for crypto perpetuals (long/short using up to 100x margin), stock synthetics (5000+) and forex synthetics (200+) as a main product. It will also build their own native oracles, have lending/borrowing, staking, asset management, prediction markets, identity, insurance etc.
(blog.cap.finance/2020/09/02/the-roadmap.html)

*The native token CAP generates yield from negative performance (excess funds from CAP Liquidity Pool) of platform users in form of buyback and burn, which will continue to drive up the trading price of CAP. It's also used as a governance token.

Okay, now how valuable could a decentralized perpetual and synthetics platform be? Multicoin Capital thinks it's the most important application in Defi -
>We believe that the largest and most lucrative opportunity in DeFi is to create a protocol that allows anyone in the world to trade any asset. We have been referring to this idea as “Decentralized BitMEX” internally for over a year. The idea of a decentralized exchange protocol that enables synthetic assets is compelling for several reasons.
(multicoin.capital/2020/09/08/trade-offs-in-the-decentralized-bitmex-space/)

CAP's fully diluted market cap is at $7.3M ($61 x 120k CAP).
Lets compare it to the competitors:

SNX is $868M (118x difference)
LINA $134M (18x difference)
BZRX $172M (23x difference)
PERP $163M (22x difference)
Hegic $319M (43x difference)

The platform will launch this month, which means now might be the perfect time to enter before the word starts getting out.
Beta testing for perpetuals is already done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0c1oHVFRB4g
Synthetics (AAPL/DAI) are now being tested on Ropsten testnet: synthetics.cap.finance/#/

This coin is performing well. I sold my stack but damn that chart looks strong. I guess whales really does see it as the decentralized Bitmex.

why did you sell your ticket to intergenerational wealth bro?

>> No.23097324

I'm surprised this coin holding up t price so well in this maket downturn, in fact all my other coins went down the gutter. Is it because of it's low market cap, or maybe yesterday news of token burn helped to sustain the price.

>> No.23097358

>>23097324
I think it's the low market cap relative to the project's potential + the fact that the anon devs keep delivering again and again

there has been a lot of skepticism towards the anon devs, but every time they deliver something and it exceeds the expecations, that particular risk factor loses its weight

>> No.23097623

The amount of holding addresses has slowly started to increase last few days. Once people see the total supply has changed, and Cap is holding it's own. People might take a second look and come and do some research.

Word will spread about Cap. It may not necessarily be this month when it launches, as it's an important feat to get right the first time.
The Dev's have been on track to date.

There is a lot to get right, so I wouldn't be surprised if it launches mid Nov.

Either way, Cappa gonna be worth the wait.

Building a protocol, not launching some shitcoin.

>> No.23097731

I'm not investing in this because in order to do even a crappy 5x margin trade there needs to be whales willing to pool their money so you have where to borrow from.

>> No.23097746

If it moves to Audit before launch, it could take some time to complete.

>> No.23097769

Perpetuals are on hold, the focus is on launching a completely decentralized Synths protocol.

>> No.23097880

"We’ve recently settled on a system design that mitigates these weak links, effectively resulting in an open, unstoppable synthetic trading protocol.

We’ll be deploying elements of this system as additions to the current system running on testnet over the next few weeks. Once tested and audited, we will move the system to the Ethereum mainnet." - https://blog.cap.finance/2020/10/04/path-forward.html

>> No.23097993

How's this compared to SNX?

>> No.23098049

>>23097993
SNX will probably be left behind along the way t b h since they wont actually launch stock synthetics due to regulatory risks (they are not even anon so that makes it harder for them)
they're 120x higher market cap though, so an entry to CAP make a lot more sense
