Yes, I set a take profit/stop loss usually around 1% but that's just a general guideline. The price action should dictate. It can be 0.5% sometimes but rarely more than 1%. As long as you do that and set everything with at least a 1:1 risk/reward ratio you will win more than 50% of the time. And volume is so high that you can buy a lot of shares

I like translating shit from Japanese to English. I am not fluent yet but I'd love to build that skillset up and utilize it to translate niche stuff (music in particular is something I'd like to get into translating). But there is NO FINANCIALLY FEASIBLE WAY for me to get this kind of job. The pay wouldn't be enough to live a proper life, the legwork required for marketing yourself and getting your foot into the door is fucking dreadful, and the job security is complete ass. It's definitely a job that would contribute to society, even if it's just providing niche translations that only a small handful of people would be interested in; they'd not have those translations otherwise and it's work that I would fucking love to do. But under the current economic model, it's difficult to find the fucking time and motivation. If I didn't have to work, just got a free paycheck no questions asked, I'd be able to do things like translation work or programming scripts for people who need more automation in their lives. Most people have some drive or motivation to do something, those things are just not properly rewarded. There's only so much time people can waste binging Netfix on the sofa all day - at some point it's natural for humans to wanna DO something.

I do compound and haven't had any problems. I'm up over 200k now doing the TSLA thing and looking for other smaller stocks that have the same pattern. TSLA is reliable on the open but if you use a scanner, look for stocks that have pumped the most in the last hour and the last 5 minute time frames. Find something that's having a good day like SPI a week or so ago and wait for a good instant pullback. Get in and most of the time you'll be able to get right back out for profit. Always have the stop loss in though. The key is you want a very fast pullback, not something that takes place over several minutes. The longer pullbacks are the market itself talking which is rarely "wrong" but the instant pullbacks of several percent are usually a whale cashing out gains and one man can rarely make a market so in that instant the price is actually wrong and you can make a reliable profit exploiting the mistake. I made a bunch of money doing that in crypto a while back too and that's where I learned the pattern

I need more practice. I'd say I'm about N3 level. My point is exactly this though - I spend 4 hours a day preparing/commuting for work, waste time at work just checking stocks because that's important for my finances but also the only mentally stimulating thing I can do that I don't mind dropping at a moment's notice if real work comes through, and when I get home I want to spend time with my gf and cook dinner for us (she's the breadwinner).
