Bought a townhouse in 2016. Paid it off in 2017 with crypto gains. But since then it's been a drain on my life looking at the crypto charts pumping and dumping not to mention filling out crypto taxes. But I don't want to miss out that type of money if it comes again. Fucking cut my 30 year mortgage to under 2 years. Where else am I going to get that type of money?!

BTC is a fun lottery ticket hold, but with more potential to "win" than an actual lottery ticket. everything else is bullshit that you WILL lose money on in the long term. anyway i do think BTC will go to $100-400k in the next 10 years, but even if it doesn't i'll be fine.

>> No.23064227

>> No.23064393

I'm not sure. I was a broke community college retail worker 3 years ago. Crypto allowed me to take a nice trip to New Zealand and then pay for a STEM degree with 50-100k left over. But there are some downsides. I am almost certain I will get fucked by taxes soon. I've also been the most uninspired piece of shit for the last 2 years because I am just waiting for crypto to make me a millionaire. And I would be a millionaire if I just held my ico LINK which I ended up selling most of to pay tuition in 2018. To get more philosophical, if I did invest in crypto and my life would look very differently currently. Because every event is the result of all the preceding events. Most notably I would not have found myself in a long term relationship which makes me contemplate suicide on a daily basis

Better.

My life was set up to be a wagecuck for some dying bank ruled by boomers or to serve some of these asshole startup founders that come from wealthy families.

Before I didn't realize how much people with money get handed to them. Also, many people with money are retards and maybe max. 1/4 of them are smart proportionally to their wealth.

My story would be too fucking long but I started as poorfag which was the reason why I could not get into crypto earlier than 2014. I made everything with Altcoins using esoteric attractor reconstruction techniques that should be discussed on /sci/, deep macro knowledge, and prediction of what retarded crypto noobs might buy into.

Today I have a few million bucks and are without much aim. in life. I used to be much sharper in 2015, 16, 17.

Just a 5x away from never having to work again (more or less, but not cashing out), just completed my degree but too lazy to go all out on applying for jobs. Not feeling superior to my peers, but very fucking disillusioned with the current system were ordinary people have to take an unreasonable amount of leverage just to avoid losing purchasing power, as well as taking on a lifetime of debt just to have some place to call their own.
