Aside from that, I think you do have the personality and content that could allow you to succeed. You should focus on 1) building a strong brand for yourself (a video style, defined audience, etc) and 2) marketing that brand. It's not enough just to create content, you have to put it in front of enough people so that they can give you feedback on the specifics of what they want. That direct back-and-forth engagement is what will build you a community.
