Can someone explain why moving averages are so different depending on the time frame of the chart being used?

Wait, is the 100 MA on the hourly chart the "100 hour moving average" and the 100 MA on the daily chart is the 100 day moving average? Shiet....

The moving average is calculated using the time frame you set your candles to, so your EMA(100) is either the 100 week EMA or the 100 Day EMA depending on which chart you are currently looking at. the Price averages are obviously going to be wildly different over those differing time spans, so you see a discrepancy in the lines on the chart.
