Ari forgot Sergey can't read or write, so now he has to do it all himself. Probably won't be ready until 2022.

Why does Chainlink need a second white paper?

>> No.23024665

>>23024659
they have to officially remove staking and the only way to do that in a way that is SEC compliant is to remove it from the whitepaper.

The funniest thing about Chainlink is that most of the holders haven't even read the whitepaper, and everyone knows this, so it's super easy for whales to just say
>this white paper is incredible! you're missing out if you don't buy this
>DYOR tee-hee
Yeah, well I did read the whole thing, and if you actually put the time in to read the damn thing, you'll realize that the what they're trying to do is impossible, and they know it.
Basically it boils down to this two man team came up with a philosophical question, attempted to answer it with a fancy white paper, and are selling it to the unwashed masses to make a profit.

>1 philosophy major

this pasta will need to be updated for the new Whitepaper.
Ari said at smartcon that the new whitepaper has an entire section on which pieces of fud pasta are still acceptable, and which aren't.

No, I'm not sure I do. Apple was started by two people, one was a university dropout. So what IS your point?

Some leaks have indicated that native LINK tokens could devalue as their note central to the project after v2 and speculation of an official fork being created that will become primary, could be true but too early to tell.

White paper? Sergey is facing serious jail time. The team is trying to keep things quiet and avoid word getting out, but the truth is that the only papers they are preparing at the moment are legal ones. Sergey actually assaulted a McDonald's employee in Brooklyn after they messed up his order but he was able to flee and managed to continue running things for a few months. Unfortunately his temper got the better of him again in downtown Manhattan where he again assaulted a McDonald's employee. This time after discovering that this particular McDonald's location on 42nd Street, his favorite, right on Times Square, was shutting down. He was nearly apprehended trying to get into a taxi, but was able to get away and flee the country. Supposedly he is in Cambodia, but who knows if those rumors are true or just a red herring while he is really somewhere else entirely.

It is unlikely he will be able to return to the US, so he will likely try to continue running chainlink through zoom calls. The longer the virus goes on the better for him. The ideal goal though is to either beat the case or get charges dropped so he can return to New York. They keep dumping LINK to pay legal fees, but the outlook is grim. It seems inevitable word will spread, in which case the team is ready to dump everything and milk what they can from this bruised and battered project.
