If you are like me, you only really learn from doing. Dip your toes into other shit, don't store on Coinbase. Do your own research.

I usually ride out the dumps and accumulate more. I could try time the market but it's a lot of effort. Bad days I literally just don't look, go for a bush walk etc.
I split my portfolio into two. Big one holds BTC, ETH, LINK and a little XRP schitzo stack. That's about 85%. I use the rest for shitcoins. Everyone will tell you to go all in on one low mc and hope. Not my ideal strategy, I am spread across a fair few. Any moons and I dump it back into BTC/ETH and repeat the process with a new coin.
The shitcoins always dump and pump harder than my big stack, such is the gamble.
Certain milestones I withdraw a percentage of fiat profits.
If you want to diversify a little I'd checkout polkadot and kusuma.

Every project I put money into I do due diligence and research and make sure I am comfortable with my buy. Hence why I can live through dumps peacefully. It's no riskier than what you have done with your current knowledge level. But good luck, more you learn the more you'll be comfortable making plays.
