There is no right answer for this. Mostly personal preference and security vs. convenience.
Hot storage (with Spark support) - XUMM or Exodus.
Cold storage - Ledger/Trezor or Paper/Metal Wallet.

It partly has to due with the fact that the US begins its new fiscal year tomorrow on October 1, which is why there was such a huge push over August and September to get the regulations in. I am not sure whose NDAs specifically expire, i.e. can Ripple partners who are actively using and holding XRP begin to talk about it? Can former Ripple employees begin spilling beans?

I'm talking about that issue, in particular, and I don't care to take time out of my day to verify obscure, unanswered riddles that are open to, and this is important, interpretation.

So you’re taking the position that it’s all coincidence. That’s fair enough, but that fact that you’re not properly explaining it is disappointing. The sudden push to regs, collectively across various jurisdictions and in line with ‘phase 2’ would be a hell of a coincidence.

Again, I don’t really dispute your overall assessment. I don’t pay any attention to the lucifarians/masons/antichrist/nwo/etc., stuff. But logically, the regs are too accurate a call to be a coincidence. They suggest some level of knowledge beyond the average. Completely dismissing it to coincidence is really rather weak.

Are you otherwise sold on XRP? Is it just the ‘insiders‘ you dispute or is it the standard itself?

has Baba explicitly said he's a Mason? a lot of stuff he posts- numerology, backwards stuff, lunar calendar-related, is Masonic. so let's dig into that!

https://freemasonry.bcy.ca/texts/Moon.html

"Symbolically, they connect the creation of physical light in the universe with the birth of Masonic spiritual and intellectual light in the candidate.

The only idea intended to be conveyed is that the principles of Freemasonry are as old as the existence of the world.

It is the spirit of the institution of Freemasonry which brings a candidate from intellectual darkness to intellectual light."

https://www.masonic-lodge-of-education.com/masonic-calendar.html

The purpose of the calendar is to reckon past or future time, to show how many days until a certain event takes place, the harvest or a religious festival, or how long since something important happened.

If XRP moons before the changeover, it is because your fiat money is inflating and losing value.
(Currently)
1 XRP = 0.24 USD
(USD Inflates)
1 XRP = 0.50 USD because the USD lost value.

The value of XRP does not change in this scenario, only the US Dollar does. Smooth brains will interperet this as XRP mooning. In reality, it has not changed.

Mixing and matching new frontiers in tech with what the KSI chain does is pretty revealing for the potential of what we're actually dealing with IMO. What this is all developing into.

Its a bit strange, but check out L'Oreal from the INTBA members page. A unlikely and easily overlooked partner.
Their product is really basic, but the social implications? What if you could use new tech to tie it in with something like KSI? Your lipstick color could be as unique as a signature, and recorded on chain. For who knows what reasons, but you can.
If you tell your GF that you don't like her lipstick shade and she says "the AI picked it out for me" is that the end, or beginning of the argument? Is another thing I like to think about. IBMs "social discourse" AI, could do that on a much larger scale. And yes, XRP has a place in all that.

I don’t necessarily think that’ll be to XRP itself, but definitely to the markets (exchanges) where meaningful players (banks, large corporates, etc.) will operate. I think I’ve mentioned here a few times before that no bank wants to risk buying XRP from the Sinaloa cartel, so they’ll be very careful where they source it.

>>22939883
I don't think so because its kind of hard to do imo. Going from something open to something closed, because as soon as you try then you have to enforce it. If you enforce it because its presumably profitable to break into then so much of your overhead is now devoted to stopping this. The more regulation and control that gets applied then the more pressure there is to pour resources into maintaining that funnel. It works well enough now, and works better as an open system. I mean, yeah, that is just one point out of possible hundreds, but, only so much speculation for me.

Openness is critical, IMO, because one of the key features of "T4IR" is that IoT devices can now function as brad puts it "economic agents". If your self driving car drives itself to a drone delivery service station to pickup and deliver a package to an automated warehouse, then now the drone, pays the car, and the warehouse pays the car, and the car can now use its own account to go and pay for its own gas. etc.
Limiting that process, snags and drags down the entire thing. Just like the internet with things like BGP protocol, cutting yourself off of it means big big problems.

Swift? Banks? Debt? Bonds?
That stuff is all great guys, but what we need is lighting fast transactions between any internet connected devices.
And that isn't all.
>Internet of Things,
>Internet of Value,
>Internet of Persons, (an interesting one used by SCI bank, they bring up good points about person-hood and identity in a blockchain world)

And all of these things need to transact value between and among themselves. Payments are going to happen so much more frequency and much more rapidly. And with things like outcome based payments, re-transactions may also need to be made. Right now systems like Visa work because we take out our credit or debit cards, maybe 1 to three times a day? We might be engaging with a world in the near future that has us doing dozens of tiny transactions (including getting paid) every hour.
Brad G. Brought up a really really really good point about why we all get paid ever week, or two weeks. And why can't we get paid every day? Every hour? Every minute? Every second? XRP can handle that. THAT is insane. Now combine that with that Microsoft patent for personnel entering / leaving a monitored zone, and you can start to see how this ties in to change the future of how people "Work"...maybe...who knows....maybe I'm autistic.

If we can establish a new baseline for poverty, one that gives people what they need and maintains a status quo then "work" as we know it will also adjust.
I really hate to use this example, because it is kind of obscure and throws people off, however its great for explaining "new work".
>Dwarf Fortress
If my Dwarfs have alcohol, beds, aren't sick, etc then they're pretty easy to keep happy and they won't run off into the woods. But work in the fortress itself needs to be done. In a game world, They're happy creatures of industry who'll run over and collect boulders or wood and put them in a pile if I need them to work on a project. As long as they're happy in the fortress and aren't busy running mad eating raw rabbits outside.

In the real world, you would have to pay people to do that. Well, if their needs are covered then it is totally up to the individual how much they'll do. Much like how in Dwarf Fortress, some miners will mine more, and some less. Things like Microsoft's Patent and outcome based payments mean that people, or dwarves, could be paid "by the boulder", how much they weight, the material they're made out of, etc. Jobs themselves become a series of tasks that are largely, in a world of automation, optional.

Some people don't like this, but its a side effect of a more prosperous society. Where there isn't real work, people will find surrogate activates that need doing that'll pay just as well. If you don't know about it, check out things like opensea.io to see how in this example, there aren't just "physical boulders" to be moved, but new "digital boulders" being created too.

>>22941400
lol, yeah,
I unironically picture the economy of Death Stranding. Side-hustle industry on steroids.

Money is a strange thing. If you take away the need for survival then you have something of a social tool. You have always been able to buy power, buy sex, buy "love". You can't expand on the limitations of currency and payment systems without also expanding the social tools that go with it. That's why I like the Death Stranding economy. Likes, could be a currency, but it illustrates the social utility of one if it is.

Now people, and clever businesses are free to create and engineer new things around it. Ever heard the joke that you couldn't remake Seinfeld because every single one of their problems is solved with cell phones? The show doesn't work anymore if each of the characters had cellphones. Because so many of the punchlines stem from misunderstanding and lack of communication / access to give someone info.

New jobs, and New money, will break the "Seinfeld" problems of today. They can be silly or serious. But that i think is where future companies will make their fortunes.

I get what you’re saying, though I have to say with just XRP in mind, I really do expect that exchanges (those that banks and large corps use, any way) will be closed to retail investors. I don’t think there’s really any interest in keeping XRP ‘open’ in the sense that it’s open to all - only open in the sense that they key players have ready access. I’d liken it to LCH or the BIS. To be a member, you need to be a large institution or act through an existing large member institution.
That doesn’t necessary go for other cryptos though (XLM, IOTA, etc).
I may be wrong, but that’s just my (perhaps pessimistic) view.

Attention seeking homosexual who’s clearly fake and a flaming faggot...and I say this as someone who enjoys me my boipucci.

You see if someone had something useful to offer they’d present their information like this:

>I think XRP will go materially [high/lower] in [limited timeframe] due to the following [reasons].

Posting the cryptic shit is the shizo equivalent of “stay at home mom discovers this one simple trick to look young that doctors hate”.

> Also why is he talking about January of 2020 and October 2019?

Because its talking out of its ass. Just ignore it and move on.

XRP [read: Ripple] got the best argument I can see for integration by the powers-that-[ought not]-to-be which I think will endow XRP with clear value. Add in all the chatter you’re seeing from “the elites & co” about their Great Reset, the geopolitical / Q angle (if that’s your thing), and the fiat/debt black hole we’re facing and I think there’s a case to be made for the transition to whatever the next financial system is.

Don’t know if it will be good or bad...although I suppose that’s a relative statement. Probably better for me to say the transition will happen and once the dust settles, I don’t know who the net beneficiaries and net losers will be BUT do suspect those who hold real assets (RE, PMs, possible a handful of cryptos) will be in an inherently better position than those who do not.

I do agree there’s much more going on behind the scenes than the public is generally aware of AND will also throw out CBs are probably MUCH further along in having their own CBDCs ready to go than they are letting on...quite the poker game we got going on here.

I don't even like sports, but I loosely follow them for this very reason.

IDK. Thinking about my sport (soccer), i don't see how you can fix it in such a way. Too many players would have to be in on it.
And it would be obvious. Maybe you can fix something like a yellow/red card but I couldn't believe that the entire score would be predetermined. That's like 50 people who would need to be in on it...

so what percentage of the players/coaching staff would need to be in on this?
NBA has low players so I guess it could be done with one or two per team (but even then, to get it exact?)
NFL teams have 50 players.

IDK man, I see Gematria's merits (I frequently post phrases and their results) but this just seems a step too far for me.

Again, this whole thing relies on a few people in the know dictating small orders to many many people. A referee can't be so powerful as to control the score of a match like 55-33

i spent about 5 minutes. So he was fixing games. I'm not disputing that games were fixed. Fixing something is easy.

But if somebody told him "make sure tonight's game ends 55-33"... He could referee 100 games and he'd do well to hit that exact score once. It's too precise. There are hundreds of uncontrollable factors. So there would need to be more PLAYERS in on it.

Reffing just so it's more likely that LA Lakers win is a different proposition altogether, and much easier. I think you could do this without participation from a single player.

It's a schizo theory. I don't think it's real either since the number of people you would need in on it would make it astronomically impossible to keep a secret. Refs trying to influence games? That one I think is likely.

>impossible to keep a secret

I love this argument because of how blindingly stupid it is. Not only are people good at keeping certain secrets about conspiracies (see: Lucitania, a secret kept for ONE HUNDRED YEARS), but also the entirety of modern culture is centered around the idea of "anyone blowing the whistle on this or that is a conspiracy theorist." Maybe there are whistleblowers, maybe there are people not "keeping the secret" and maybe those people are written off by anyone and everyone as cranks.

Thanks for the read.
There's definitely a lot in there which raises eyebrows, no doubt. As the author says, it seems very orchestrated.
But idk, for me, I just can't get my head around it. There's too many ways it can go wrong.

I've actually started reading that book (only finished chapter 2) so maybe by that point I'll be a little more convinced. Reading through the contents when I first downloaded it I saw a sports section and was sceptical of it then so I'm coming from that frame of mind lol

So cool! It's the best book around on the matter. The author is big on sports, so you'll see his practice on how to reference sports to current events. He touches on it in almost every chapter.
Be sure to MAKE NOTES when you read the book. Most important part. I made my own reference guide to all numbers 1-100, and their commonalities, and it made it all so much easier.

No dude it doesn't make any sense. You would need the entire coaching staff, the training staff, and your team captains to ALL be in on it. As well as the owners, the refs, and all of the media. FOREVER. If even one prominent player spoke out EVER it would all be over.
>But they try to and thats why good players suddenly go to shit
>They purposefully rig it so that they don't do well
>Then everybody thinks they're jaded if they speak out
>CTE is just the NFL killing ex=players for exposing the rigging
Right? The number of people involved in this that would have absolutely NO REASON TO NOT EXPOSE IT.

You're just mad that Wentz isn't actually a good QB and trying to cope.
