Previous thread : >>22922541

Every day until you like it.

https://www.xeth.finance/

Hello anons. It's that time again. To make it short, here are the pros of xETH :

>NO NEGATIVE REBASES as long as xETH remains above the peg of 0.01 ETH
>Basically solved Ampleforth's problem
>Dynamic deflationary mechanism applying a 5% tax to every sell in order to reward holders and prevent sells
>Team is legit, reimbursed someone who lost his funds and are planning to buy 50% of their funds in good faith
>Weekly chart indicates that if you buy in the $4 - $8 range, you'll be in profit NO MATTER WHAT after a few days
>Holders and volume both steadily increasing
>Sitting at $6M marketcap

Here are the cons :
>5% tax isn't enough as a deterrent against sells, but it may change automatically in response to the price and rebases
>liquidity is still low (for now)
>NO VOLUME = DEATH (price above peg = everyone will want to sell their profits first/price below peg = "lmao who the fuck will buy an experimental rebase token if nobody will be greedy enough to buy after me" )

Hopefully, the liquidity issue will be solved thanks to LP-Staking coming on Friday and the rewards that will be provided as an incentive to add liquidity. If successful, the volume will increase in tandem given that a less volatile price WILL gather more confidence for potential buyers, meaning more people will be aware of the rebase and the interest in holding, etc.

I guess that's everything for now.

Pics like these make me emotional for some reason. I feel happy being born now since I could still catch the crypto train in time before massive normalfag adoption in the next ten - twenty years, but I feel sad because real VR and fully fledged VR probably won't be a thing until at least 2050.

At least by making it I'll hopefully have the funds, time and peace of mind necessary to properly experience what the future has to offer in that department. Maybe even invest in companies making 2D closer to reality. Time will tell.

And you have every reason to be skeptical, since it's not particularly ground-breaking. It's just a rebase token without the hindrances of AMPL that was listed 2 weeks ago. Its main advantages again the competition are the low mcap, and how easy marketable it can be as a money printer/hedge. (see pic related)
As I've said countless times in my previous threads, if the volume/buy pressure decreases significantly, it won't take long before the whole thing falls apart. I've been shilling xETH for the past 4 days making sure not to leave this detail out, as I feel it wouldn't be honest to tell other anons to jump in without making them aware of what they're getting into. In fact, I waited one week before making threads here to ascertain if it could be considered sustainable at least for the short/mid term before talking about it here.

The sandcastle of holders is getting bigger as I speak and as that nigger said, the community and team both are playing the game in order to make this last. I hate being associated with these people but greed is more of less the same no matter where you look at in this space.

Bump.

And also one piece of bad news, straight from the announcement channel :

>"Hello everyone, we will delay the launch of the liquidity staking for a bit. We won't give an ETA yet, but it should still be around the corner. This is in place so that we can ensure maximum security and UI/UX for our users. Thanks for your understanding.

>Burn event will happen this Friday!!! Who else is excited to see the token burn?"

Wew lad. The delay means that we'll be stuck with low liquidity for a while. What was the point of proudly announcing that it would be ready by Friday other than to make people buy the news and pump the price? That's one shady point for the team.

Not to be paranoid here, but maybe they want to keep the liquidity low for the time being, as it was hinted that an e-celeb was contacted by the team for marketing purposes. At the very least, in his latest video, he acknowledged xETH in a comment mentioning it by replying "I think you might be right." So they might be doing it voluntarily to allow for a nice inorganic pump for him to dump his bags - this is a schizo take but you can never be too worried.

(Don't forget to activate uBlock origin and/or invidious so that you can't give more views to who I assume to be a PnD device)

I think I mentioned it in the OP, but what the team refers as Burn Event is when they'll get rid of half of their funds in order to ease fears firstly, and reduce the supply.

The price is expected to go up as a result, thanks to hype following this event ("oh wow, the team isn't greedy!!! buy buy buy!!! moon time!!!") and of course supply and demand.

>I think I might swap xeth for eth before the event, what if we get rugpull instead
Trust me, you're not alone worrying a little about what may come afterwards. The team remains anonymous and there's no guarantee if the code was properly audited to prevent a sudden bug or something.
Now I'm myself wondering if the cons and risk outnumber the potential profit to be made. Scared money doesn't make money, but there's a difference between taking a measured risk and blindly believing in something just because.

I believe it can succeed with or without me shilling here, but I'd like other anons to take part in the experiment. Still, a little marketing push cannot hurt. I wouldn't bump the thread otherwise.
So that I can be happy in knowing that I helped people make a profit. I'd feel genuinely disheartened if it turned out to be a scam or fail for whatever reason, even if I did warn about potential risks. We never know what might happen but this is what makes crypto and browsing /biz/ so great. It forces you to be on edge but you can put the odds in your favor, with the little touch of randomness and dumb luck in the equation.
