I mean whats stopping a company from shorting it and the buyer is another company. Second company proceeds to short it as well by selling it to the first company. Repeat 20 times and wahlah weve shorted it beyond 1000% come on take the bait there should be a short squeeze any second now.

Because if you know anything about large Hedge funds and their shorting shenanigans, you'll know that they will do everything they can to manipulate the stock.

1.) They will pay people to release articles (Motley Fool guy going nuts right after Friday with trashtalking GME for no reason)

2.) The will get experts to say certain things that don't make any sense to convince people to sell (The short float is actually 34.0134% we just came up with a new method of calculating shorts JUST FOR GAMESTOP TRUST US ALSO SUBSCRIBE TO BLOOMBERG FREE 10 DAY TRIAL)

3.) They'll pay influencer groups a few thousand grand here and there to go onto various social media platforms, forums, and discussion groups to shill against the stock. That's why there has been an insane amount of anti-GME shills after Friday.

They can't accept it is over. But it is and they will have to pay.

But if the jug can expand to 2 gallons, and we add in the “synthetic” longs created by short selling to the stock lending pool, both scenarios are not only possible but also logically acceptable. We no longer need to rely on the skillfulness of magicians or the nefariousness of “naked short sellers” to explain why the milk pour is overflowing the glass or there is so much short selling in a security relative to its float.

The whole "business" about synthetic longs just make it sound overly complicated when all it means is that 66.41 million shares short mean that there are 131.57 million shares in circulation right now (not just 65.16 million shares outstanding).

it doesn't change the fact that short sellers are screwed if more and more people go long on GME. It just means that we actually want shorts to cover precisely so the short squeeze will be more likely to happen with less shares in circulation. Right now there's too many shares for a squeeze to actually happen, and it would actually be more precarious for short sellers if we were at 50% short interest.
In that hypothetical short interest, we would be at
>97.74 million shares in circulation
>74.10 million shares held by institution
>7.28 million shares by insiders
>10 million shares by Cohen and Fuss
and then there would still be 32.58 million shares still needing to cover with only 6.36 million shares left accounted for.

tl;dr the short squeeze can't happen until we're closer to 50% short interest.

S3's thesis is that every short creates a new long. Imagine a company with 1 share. If the owner of that 1 share lends it out to a short seller then someone else buys it, there are now 2 shares. Its not wrong per se, but it doesn't necessarily matter when all the shorts start scrambling for the exit.

All Ihor is *really* disputing is the signifigance of naked shorting. If hes wrong then we pop Friday due to reg SHO, if hes right then we pop some other time. Note even Ihor admits "the probability of a squeeze is high"

the beauty of it is that even if the squeeze doesn't happen, everyone who got in early comes out of it with a profit because the stock price is artificially low due to all the shorting.

it would be a different story if there were more digital editions sold and if Cohen wasn't a factor, but right now people are already deep green and just watching GME play out with little stress (unless you FOMO'd in at $11)

Disney Shanghai is doing incredibly well, their Halloween event is completely booked up including hotels and everything. Most of the cuts are from California anyway, so those people were not productive at all and 66% were temps. If anything, this is awesome for the bottom line.

Building off this the person who lent out the original 1 share is the "synthetic long," for he "owns" the share, but isn't in physical possesion of it.
Of course that is of little benefit to the shorter if forced to cover - for the synthetic long cant sell his share without recalling it first anyway - no matter what the shorter must buy the share from the real long, whatever price that real long names.

The exit door hasn't gotten any bigger.

Of course I dont think Ihor is 100% right considering the amount of shares that are restricted from lending (insiders, ETFs etc.) I really do think there has been some naked shorting going on

EV is a joke kinda. The selling point: better on the environment. The reality; most energy is still made via coal/oil burning plants. So every time you charge up a car it draws that power from a coal plant somewhere. The other knock; the batteries are expensive as fuck. Now if most energy came via solar/hydro then yeah EV would be the way to go fully.

Idk but the Alaska-Alberta railway just got greenlit. That points towards Pebble being a go because that railway would be very needed to move ore and metal from Alaska to the lower 48. Metal isn't economical to move by sea and especially from alaska since most the ports are actually closer to Asia than the west coast of the USA.

I bought 9500 shares of ABEO today. Why? Cause the stock took a dump due to the CEO/majority of board members walking away. The key points; Nothing wrong with the company prompted this. Big fish investor groups have moved in. Company is looking to sell itself. The company recently got a buy rating and target hike right before the board members all walked. The high was 5. Now it's at 1.11 - 1.14.. Before the dump it was in the high 2ish to 3 range. Any good news will kick it back up.

The big part about NAK and the Pebble Mine is the FUCKING MASSIVE amounts of copper. The gold is just a cherry on top. The amount of copper in the Pebble Mine in Alaska is equal to almost 2% of all copper mined EVER. A deposit of this size has not been developed in the USA since the late 1800s. The environmental impact statement (EIS) was very positive and despite some pushback from chinese paid shills things have been going smoothly since Trump took over and he has been very pro-pebble. The record of decision comes out later this year and if it's good to go then I personally expect the price to go up to atleast $30 from $1 since it was at $20 a while back before the market was inflated and before the mine was even looking as good as it is now. Hell some anons have predicted $100.

So wait, these faggots have 115 000 stations and charge around 0.25 cents per kwh. Your average Tesla takes about 100 kwh on a full charge.

So that's what? 10 000$ per station if one Tesla visits it every day? One station itself costs like 30k, US has 1.5m EVs so 150m Kwh worth of batteries to charge. Let's assume your average person only drives 50 miles a day so that's 15m kwhs worth of charging a day, 3.75m$ at rate of 25 cents per kwh. Ten percent of that market would be 136m every year.

Am I retarded? US has 273 million vehicles in total so there would be a huge market for charging stations

NAK won't get approved until after the election.
If trump wins, I suggest dumping in what you can afford to lose without sweat.
If you put in 1000 you could walk away with 40x in a year or two after its approval.

Even if Trump wins, it isn't guaranteed but it will most likely be approved.

I won't suggest buying it before his reelection. There is no way he'll risk the additional controversy over the mine and he is far too busy to personally oversee it.

the ROD is to issue a federal permit or not. It is issued by the ACOE and I do not believe that congress or president has any power to block it besides EO or writing a new law. They MAY but I do not know for certain if someone does know feel free to let me know. However after the federal ROD there does need to be a state permit granted but the governor of Alaska is very pro mining and almost guaranteed to grant the permit. Regardless if a positive ROD is granted the stock price will almost definitely jump to at least 10, when the EIS got released it was at $3 for months after and the EIS wasn't a decision just the ACOE research into whether the mine will cause harm or not which like I said they came to the conclusion that everything will be fine.
