Our story is the adults who immigrated over immediately networked with other immigrants from the same part of Europe. Everyone worked odd jobs, grew vegetables, fixed everything themselves, literally sewed the kids' clothing out of feed bags. Their kids picked up trades and that's what really got the ball rolling, but everyone at this point was still in dire poverty
I remember my great-great-uncle telling me about how he was always the first one at the job site and last one out (construction). The fact that he was trusted to do meaningful work (not just odd-job drudgery) was priceless to him; he says throughout his 20s he thought about nothing else but work. Incredibly humbling desu

Both of my parents were raised up poverty tier in rural Appalachia. My Dad, raised by a coal miner and a homemaker with 2 brothers. He had a roof over his head and enough to eat, but nothing beyond that. My Mom was raised by a violent Dad and her Mom, a school lunch lady, along with 4 brothers and a sister. She got nothing beyond a place to sleep and dinner.

My dad has been a coal miner most of his life, started when he was 18. My mom graduated college and taught Special Education most of her life. They met when they were young, had me and my sister, and gave me so so so much more than "generational wealth". They gave me their unconditional love. They gave me the best childhood I can imagine. If you told me I could live anyone in the worlds childhood I would pick mine every single time. Most importantly, they raised me in Church. Giving me the shortest/simplest path to finding God and having eternal life in heaven. I'm in my 30's now and they still love me just the same. I want nothing more then to repay them for everything they have done for me and given to me over the years and I think God answered my prayers 3 years ago. I found Link. 50k golden tickets. God willing, I think I'm going to have millions upon millions in the coming years and I'll be able to give them the most comfortable golden years possible.

Love and Happiness are SO much fucking better than money and I hope all my biz frens get to experience both in this short life on Earth. Also, please find God. Maybe you won't find happiness here, but this life is short and you can have eternal happiness if you give your life to him.

I have no real strategy for going about this. Everyone is so closed-off and insulated in the current year. Even if I build wealth and start a nuclear family, I won't have any real extended family to support us and to form healthy relationships to support and nourish my kids. Both of my parents have a dozen siblings each, I have two, one is a selfish commie and one is married to a lazy and stupid man, and I'm not very close with most of my cousins because we live in different countries. I don't know bros, when I think about it, the elites may not have completely closed off the routes to building individual wealth, but they've made it 100x harder to pass on any real generational wealth compared to 2 or 3 generations ago. I have no idea what to do about this.

Yep, same story with my family.

My mom then lost both parents, put in boarding school and by luck could immigrate to usa.

American dream, but she wasn't the smartest women. Nothing bad, but she was around wealthy people and took to someone that was not the best choice and I came along.

So great for me, but my mom was never smart, she has good worth ethic but she's really redpilled on life.

Now I try to take care if her but there's not much she enjoys it what's good for herm sheikes to be inside all day and after a while I lamented and just take her out occasionally for dinners which, she can ruin by talking loudly about politics or her life story as she doesn't do anything new so she has nothing to really talk about.

But then here's me, own property in two countries and speak 4 languages and most of what my c'mon couldn't I learned because I realized if I didn't I would be as ignorant and incompetent as her in age.

And I see it around everywhere, and it disgusts me. The lack of self reliance and independence.

My dad wasted all of his money trying to keep my narcissist mom happy for 30 years. She abused him, left him 4 times, cheated on him twice(that we know about), and burned through his money like a flamethrower. My dad bought her 5 houses and 3 cars over the last 4 years. Now they're divorcing and she's trying to wring him for every last dime he has.

The American economy is not designed for anything more than 10% of the population being able to build true generational wealth.

To be able to build wealth that lasts you need to make at least $150k a year, and that requirement is obviously getting higher and higher thanks to inflation.

Jobs which pay that much or more are almost exclusively reserved for very well educated STEM professionals and the biggest ass lickers in corporate America.

The former requires you to have intelligence and dedication. The latter requires you to be a sociopath with high charisma. The vast majority of the population will be inherently locked out of those jobs due to said requirements.

The only real way to make it outside of that is by getting lucky with investments (real estate, stock market, crypto, etc) or creating a successful business.

You can't just start your way at the bottom and work your way up to making 200k a year. For the vast majority of people they start at the bottom and stay there while the managerial class gives the promotions to their family/friends/sycophants.

tl;dr stop worrying about the past and put all your fucking money in crypto. There is a very high chance that social security and medicare will disappear by the time our generation reaches boomer age.

invest in crypto now and ride your lambo in the future while the rest of the country begs jeff bezos for a job.

Parents had me before their 20s, neither of them had careers or ideas of what they wanted to do. Dad worked his ass off at a grocery store, among other things, and eventually fell into a job that taught him how to weld. Still doesnt make a lot, but enough and will probably get cancer or something because of it and his old smoking habit. Rage autist. Probably plays more vidya than me. Oh and has no retirement, because he switched jobs so much to get better pay. His parents are cool, but not very wealthy.
Mom grew up in the city, made a lot of dumb choices, mostly cause shitty family life. Kinda hates her job, but cant quit or my parents are fucked. Her parents are super overbearing/preachy Christians. They mean well enough, but fuck it's a chore to talk to them any time The Lort is even tangentially related. Grandma remarried a bunch of times, cause the last 4 or so had cancer, so does her current husband. He was the one that pointed me at the stock market, so I'm very grateful for that.

My family actually has generational wealth but refuses to give me much of it. They took the boomerpill:

>'if your kid doesn't work they'll just mooch off you all day and become worthless sacks of shit'. Better make sure they have to earn their own money.

They're not wrong in that I have little work ethic but it does feel like a waste of time working a low-level job I hate (at the company they bought just because they wanna support the industry, not because it makes more money than shares these days). Especially irritating given that my grandparents weren't doing badly either and now all their money's just going straight to my parents who are already rich.

It's retarded. All they do is pile up responsibilities and work for themselves. They're super-wagies who worked to the top of two well-paying professions and don't know how to stop. They're high priests of the cult of work.

My parents gave me 50k towards my first house. They always supported me and let me stay rent free whenever I wish at their home. I’m extremely lucky to have my family and it proves to me how important a functioning family unit is.

They didn’t earn lots, but they were always highly utilitarian with their money, while other kids parents spent money on making their house nice or having new cars, we lived with what we had, drove old cars and never threw things away. My parents put £20 a week into a managed fund For both me and my sister, they also got lucky in the housing market which has grown hugely in the U.K. They’re set up well for retirement and between them they earned 50k a year with my mum sometimes working two jobs. It just proves to me that even as a wagecuck, if you work hard and are clever with your money you can make it in this country so that your kids will be comfortable and you won’t have to worry in your retirement. It really takes some massive planning and effort to preserve and increase family wealth. Internet. It was different back then. Asked smart questions, find the right mentors you could do almost anything.

Nowadays I would say, linkedin, network, make friends, invest on an online lmage and understand how soft skills work.

Even if you don't know much, if you're willing ot learn and do some shitty work, you can get a crappy job making 30K/yr now and level up in 6 months a year to 50k and improve yourself.

But basically IT.

I always loved securitty.

I compromised some things under 18, so I was legally untouchable. Stopped that as I turned and then just did help desk stuff and improved myself from there.

Ten years later or so, faang, side contracts, annual revenue exceeds 300k and I post on /biz/ giving bad advice in all aspects of stocks, crypto and life.

So one thing anon is learning what to trust, accept and when to say no and decline.

I managed to unite us into at least subdividing a giant home but then crazy bitch mom had meltdowns and went back to cucking in her own apartment again. Today my parents have nothing and spend their social security on rent.

My dad was a millionaire. And I was rich as fuck as a five year old. Then he lost his restaurant. Then he got cancer and he killed himself after suffering for 3 years. I still remebr the vomit in a cup next to his bed. He couldn't even fldigrst his burger that I brought him the night before. That must have been the last straw. I'm sure he said goodbye and hugged me while I was sleeping. I was 16 now I'm 30 and all in link.

My parents immigrated from China and started all over again at the age of 35, literally from dish washing in restaurants. They could have lived comfy their whole lives and me too back home as they belonged to the establishment but for some reason I can't fathom my dad decided to redo everything again.

I got brought along here at the age of 7. My mom especially idolizes the U.S. and all that propaganda, her thinking has been stuck in the 80s while the world has moved on.

I have more liquid net worth then the two of them combined but all my life I have just seen the decline and fall of western civilization all around me. I just feel like I have been brought onto a sinking ship against my will and denied my birth rights.

The rise of DeFi sadly brought more short-term experimental projects than ones with fundamental long-term value. Developers with enough Solidity knowledge were quick to purchase Finance and food-themed domains only to convert them into copycats for a quick buck. Some of them, managed to even become one of the leading DeFi projects for a short time by copying protocols with a strong community like Uniswap.

Here is the $ZYX i got this really hard work and talented team already listed on uniswap for trading

AND THE CHERRY ON PIE:

Before we launch farming using bridge and oracles, those who stake liquidity in the pool ETH - ZYX will be eligible to receive “Farming” rewards of 0,14% daily, depending on the amount of the LP tokens you will posess. More tokens - more rewards!

My parents are Generation X (50+) and grew-up in a Western country during the Cold War. The issue with this time period is that the parents of my parents lived in the most rapid economic expansion in human history, localised to a select few countries not devastated by the Second World War. The effect of this on my parents was that they saw their own parent (my grandparents) accumulate massive wealth with little skill or education/training and pay very low taxes. My parents were encouraged to pursue passion in post-secondary and did exactly that. My parents failed to achieve the same wealth as their parents because they never understood hardship and were born with silver spoons. This is a symptom of life through exclusively good economic times.

I am old enough to have experienced the ramifications of 2008 and now the current clown market. I feel confident that I have experienced some economic hardship and this will make me stronger and wiser than my parents ever were (and so more similar to my grandparents that experienced the Second World hardship at a young age).

>TL;DR Baby Boomers and Gen X grew-up with huge wealth and squandered it due to naivity and laze.
