Imagine believing ANY of this shit. Kek. Link was a good 200x but remember ICON / ICX and know it's probably over forever.

Suterusu + Polytrade are now the chad grip.

Why is chain link / an Oracle needed here? Can Tesla just send the data directly to your web app’s back end?

This is seriously awesome, happy to see there are other techies on here who actually give a shit.

Curious what part of this requires the blockchain? I.e. why does the transaction need to be trust less if there is a web app already being used as an arbiter?

Also this is a much lighter critique but I may cut/shorten the meme shit at the beginning if you want it to be taken more seriously lol

Bumping. I remember LinkPal giving me some good vibes but it didn't work in the end because of refunds or some shit.

Call this fud if you want but isn't this likely to suffer a similar fate? Part of the growing pains that will make smart contracts a big boi tech someday, just not today??

paypal is shit anyway.
It could work if reputation were a thing and at the end of the day if you're writing the contract you decide on the level of risk you want to have. If someone looks like they might rob you just put a huge bond up and if they do rob you by just driving off you still have master control using the private API key and can disable the car or maybe engage some sort of ai enabled emergency stop or an annoying automated message pumped through the speakers or honk the horn like the guy said

fetching price data to determine rates.
In the future you could have an entire enterprise of rented things like trailers which would change how things are used and the nature of ownership. Right now we live in boomer land and if you want to borrow or rent something you need to know someone to do something like this without going through a business. Now you don't need to and can literally do it p2p
