I was actually wondering about this on the way home. Back in the early days of 4chan, we'd share non-image files by compressing whatever else (often music but usually .pdfs of books) into a .rar and then converting that .rar into an image. You post the image, the person on the other side downloads it, changes the file extension to .rar, and decompresses it. Boom, file transfer over 4chan. I wonder if I could take a .pdf and change the extension to .mp3 and upload that.
