1. BTC - de facto Store of Value
2. ETH - de facto Smart Contract platform
3. LINK - de facto Oracle to link them all
4. ??? - i think it's gotta be a killer Dapp making use of ETH and LINK.
i think it's going to be UNI/BNT/RUNE or something like it as de facto DEX with orderbooks and impermanent loss mitigated

it's gotta be something ubiquitus where everyone uses it
just like BTC ETH LINK
PNK is too niche
i think de facto DEX with orderbooks and impermanent loss mitigation is something everyone will use

#4 is not going to be just one killer Dapp it's going to be DeFi Dapps!
It's going to be the DeFi blue chips like SNX, AAVE, UNI, YFI that make use of ETH, LINK and Optimism!
fuck yeah
i solved the puzzle!
load up on DeFi blue chips!

Just because you add aaS to something, doesn't make it any more valuable. For example, if someone pays you to post this shit on biz, you could call it Shitposting as a service, but does that make it any better? It's Niche, could be used for small claims court, but at the end of the day it's not going to be anything special.

>> No.22869495

It could be PNK maybe as its makes sense in the progression of the space but I think most institutional disputes of smart contract resolution will still be done by traditional legal teams.

The next real progression of the space for institutions is monetizing all of the data retained on the blockchain through decentralized cloud storage. Most of the projects suck though but there is one that is miles ahead of the rest for enterprise.

Oh yeah that does sound pretty cool

I think it is a competitor because I saw the arbitrum cofounder getting pissed on Optimism on twitter. link: https://twitter.com/hkalodner/status/1309310015044546561

If Chainlink doesn't end up solving scalability through Arbitrum, we won't make as much money I guess. But we need scalability to be economically viable right now (gas costs are a huge part of the Chainlink budget). So even if Optimism solves it before/better than Arbitrum it's still a win. But it would be a bigger win if Arbitrum comes out on top
