Lately I've been thinking about this shit a lot (though not specific to Chainlink).

Technology isn't evil, it's how people apply the tech that could be evil. The internet could be used to educate the world but education tools can also be used for brainwashing and censorship. Rockets can bring a missile payload to another country and cause damage to life and property but they can also bring humanity to the stars. Scalpels can be used to perform surgery and save lives and they can also be used to kill.

Technology in the future will be the same. Will people use it to enslave others or liberate them? It's going to be both at the same time.
