Im a noob whos been researching the history of bitcoin. As I understand BTC=Bitcoin core? I always thought it stood for BiTCoin and was THE original one, but from what Ive read it is the project of a company called blockstream.

Even if craig is not satoshi, which is the most authentic form of the original bitcoin right now? Also I dont understand why the core developers were against larger block sizes. Isnt this why ethereum is having so many issues because of scaling and congestion? Help a brainlet understand i dont know who the good guys are in this whole drama

correct, very good research job, bsv is the closest implementation of the original bitcoin, i think you can find more in the r/bitcoincashSV sticky.

>Also I dont understand why the core developers were against larger block sizes. Isnt this why ethereum is having so many issues because of scaling and congestion?
yes on the second part.
Theres a bunch of reasons blockstream/core devs were against larger block sizes, you can pick which ones you think had more weight:

- (conspiracy) some ppl say they got paid to intentionally crippled bitcoin since blockstream is funded by AXA
- (fear) some core devs were really scared of any hard fork, raising the block size is a hard fork meaning that people who don't update their software will be left behind (wont be able to accept bigger blocks), so the network will split, and they were afraid this would cause chaos and a huge drop in price
- (greed) some core devs theorized layer 2 solutions and a fee market which only work if layer 1 is crippled. So they invested a lot of money and reputation in those solutions and would lose both monetarily and reputation-wise if layer 1 block sizes were simply increased

i love how big of a scammy loser this guy is.
he spends his time scheming up lies to tell and without fail every single time he gets btfo'd but he keeps coming back for more which is a true grit sign hes being paid by calvin to push the scam fork.
its so hilarious tho and the court case hes in is the funniest thing of them all.
everyone knows he isnt satoshi and hes broke as a joke but he got into this legal bullshit because of his lies. he refused to own up and admit they were lies so now hes on the line legally to pay out fucking billions that he doesnt have and never will be able to pay, so he'll go to prison for "failing to pay". but hes being paid a few $100k/yr to keep the act up because he thinks in his psychotic little brain that if a court says hes satoshi then hes actually satoshi and finally everyone will believe it because we all know he cant sign the genesis block bc he isnt satoshi. with as much pride as he has "proving everyone wrong by signing" would have been one of the first things he would have done. but he didnt because he cant so hes going the only route that "sorta" officially makes him satoshi but in the end it still doesnt. hes just an alcoholic conman who is in debt up to his eyeballs who literally has an arrest warrant out for him in Australia and has been effectively trying to troll patent offices in hopes of getting a payday he doesnt deserve. the man is a career criminal and as a law student myself its plain as day i just dont know how anyone with an above room temp IQ could possibly believe this hilarious ass clown of a loser is really satoshi.

>> No.22796744

your argument is coming from a real misunderstanding of what Bitcoin actually is. its decentralized, satoshi and who he was or is only mattered before he deployed the code. there is no leader required or central authority needed in decentralized blockchain solutions. its why we have DAO's now. centralization is a major point of failure and the most reliable Bitcon motto that ppl seem to have forgotten is "trust in mathematics" - instead low minded ppl look for leaders wherever they can be found because they are followers and always will be. they need someone to elevate or to put in charge of whatever it is but this itself is the antithesis to what cryptocurrency provides an absolute solution for which is true trustlessness.

you can either be some guy with dollars in his mattress wasting all his life hoping that the $ will go up in value. Or be Jeff bezos and create value to accumulate as many dollars as you can.
In the end both will benefit from usd going up, but if you build actual value you will benefit more, that's basic economics.

even without building value yourself, you can make bsv worth more by increasing the size of the community and thus the economic output it encompasses. The crypto ecosystem is small enough that if you care you could easily make the price go up just by shilling it a few hours a day on here, but people are getting lazy it seems. I was in btc in the early days and I remember how much we shilled on 4chan and irc, all the faucets and giveaways we set up despite everyone saying bitcoin was a ponzi, the inner circle was working hard to spread it and it paid off profusely. People these days got lazy and just want to hodl and look at charts

You should only invest bsv in a bsv business if you think that business will outperform bsv as a whole. Otherwise you are not following your profit incentive, so what are you really doing.
