Let's say I swap some STA to Delta on uniswap. Are my Delta tokens now automatically placed in the uniswap pool? How do I go about pooling them on the phoenix pool? Do I have to unpool them from uniswap first and then pool it on phoenix or can they be pooled simultaneously on both?

The Delta tokens are your "share" of the pool that you can swap back to your STA/ETH. You can use Delta in Phoenix too but as it's 40% of the pool you need the missing 60% or the Balancer will "redistribute" your Delta. Though I think if you pool with a single token you will get it back when you unpool, and not have to worry about the other tokens (wETH/BTC/LINK/SNX)
