Hard to say. The way we produce oil in the states, there is a possibility that we will run into a low supply situation soon because all the producers have drilled wells but not "turned them on" yet. However, the Saudis have basically an unlimited supply and all they need to do is "open the tap" a bit to solve any supply issues. It depends more on politics and Saudi greed than anything else.
About $30k of my portfolio is oil stocks, but I don't recommend it for others. Mostly bagholding from previous years.
