Go to yfv.finance and put it in the governance vault (currently at 150% apy), unless you have a massive stack of a stable coin and want to stake with that. Gov vault pays out in VALUE (interchangable with YFV and eventually will be phasing YFV out) vEth and vUsd which are basically just wrapped eth and usd.

Whales won't be able to do that much longer, and there's more benefit to holding now. If the team was going to rug they would have at $80, not sacrificed short term gains to do a ton of dev work and retool the project for longterm success. In one foul swoop they basically shook out the weak hands, and flipped the project to benefit smaller investors rather than just 1 or 2 whales at the top.

Seriously, zoom out... This shit ain't done yet. This project now has better fundamentals than YFI, and when people are looking for the "next YFI", this is where their money will be going.

Most of the smart money saw that the price was being heavily manipulated, sold at around $60, then rebought in between $15-20 (or are actively accumulating now). Trade bots are currently at work suppressing the price (or at least we're last night), so now is kind of the perfect time to accumulate. The moon was kind of unfortunate though because in the end it sort of devalued all the work the devs were doing ontop of what yfi/sushi did. I wish we had a slower build up, but ya, rip if you bought in at $50+

A lot of people have a vested interest in this project failing, since it has the potential to threaten other liquidity providers/defi projects. Which I see as incredibly bullish, but obviously adds another element of risk

Watching the weak hands in the telegram group get shaken out was glorious. Even though I ended up with some short term losses, it was worth the entertainment. Lots bought 1yfv at $80 (after it pumped like 50x in 3 days), then the gas fees ended up pricing them out of even selling lol.

You can't help stupid.. Obviously if you bought in at $70-80 this is a terrible investment (that still could make you 2x in a year or 2), but I think this shit is a steal right now.

technically the value for vUSD and vETH SHOULD be pegged to USD and ETH, so I would assume that there will be a way to cash it out.
They said that first of all they will reduce dramatically the gas fees just by holding it, and secondly I think they will be one day exchangeable for other assets in the ecosystem. Just speculating, nobody knows for sure yet,
What's certain is that the vUSD pool requires YFV to stake in it (10vUSD/90YFV), so if whales want to farm it, they will need to buy YFV, and the supply has been cut.
