Yeah.. unironically I don't see how it won't happen. Gonna be a dark few years. Thankfully china's political shit storm will hopefully motivate residents to take their net worth off the government monitor and store their value in crypto if they can which will booster it against the american fallout a little. Idk guys no real safe option. The buy gold meme is the truest it's ever been as much as I hate it.

Its really hard to tell, lots of things are happening behind the scenes, let me explain

>banks are giving boomers months and months of time not to pay
>FED is literally printing money and buying stocks
>govt giving boomers incentives not to foreclose
>retail traders buying every dip, have no idea whats happening
>unemployment extensions + more welfare than usual

The dam is breaking, and they are plugging every hole with their finger. Its only a matter of time but who knows the timeline. It all depends on when a critical mass of people understand what is happening

Just a word of advice for young people like me, don't start buying a home until you see boomers committing suicide in the street casually. Then, buy their home at dirt price, knock his daughter up. This won't destroy us, but this is the end for boomers. Good riddance, fucking kike loving lawn mowing worthless mother fuckers.

I know these are stupid questions, I'll give my best guesses to them:
>1. Why can't loan moratorium last indefinitely? Who gives a shit if the banks go bankrupt?
I guess homeowners and renters would go broke and couldn't eat, and the banks would go out of business. Home owners will sell stock to eat in this extreme scenario.
>2. Since the above likely won't happen, what move is made by financial institutions or the fed on the way down to futily attempt to prevent it?
Threaten foreclosure, all home owners sell to avoid being hobos.
>3. How are low house prices a bad thing?
Homeowners lose value, but they keep their homes... I'm pretty unsure on this one.

Thanks in advance to any spoon feeders.
