22701533 No.22701533 [Reply] [Original]

I was checking details of the Ocean Protocol ICO which was held in 2019 (https://icodrops.com/oceanprotocol)), when I noticed something strange about the team. Basically, out of the 15 team members during ICO, 11 have left.

You can view the current team here:

https://oceanprotocol.com/about

Is this a red flag?

>> No.22701619

They got their tokens and moved on, all these "teams" are bullshit anyway. The companies barely exist.

From the 7 members of the "Core Team" listed during ICO stage, only 3 remain: Bruce Pon ,Trent McConaghy and Cristina Cenuse/Pon. So over half of the core team have disappeared.

I checked the Linkedin of some of the Core Team listed during ICO stage..

Two of the members Don Gossen and Dimitri De Jonghe are both described as Co Founders of Ocean.

The funny thing is, they both left shortly after the ICO was held. ICO was in May 2019. De Jonghe quit in August 2019, and Gossen quit in September 2019.

No. People have roles. Sometimes those roles are no longer needed, or they are needed for a role elsewhere. Did they walk away with the 30 million that they raised during ICO? No.

You are like a petulant child that is mad that everyone else has a cookie and you don't even though it is because you already ate yours. Just buy in already, you aren't getting it for 10c no matter how much you kick and scream and shit yourself.
