>whenever BAT price increases, Brave users get less BAT from watching ads
>currently they get 0.010 BAT per ad
What a terrible execution of an otherwise good idea. BAT itself is pretty much worthless too.

Implying that anyone ever thought when bat was $40 you'd be making 1000 a month for browsing biz.

Unironically install Firefox pls.

You'd think they'd at least go the other way when the price drops
now I'm getting like 1¢ per ad, I don't even bother anymore
it was fun while it lasted

quads. nice.

However if you are using BAT to make money you have the wrong idea.

I mean I get that, and sticking it to google is great
but I've blocked ads for years before using brave, even used that one extension that fake clicked ads for a while. I guess this is an incentive for normalfrens to do the same, but 1¢ per ad is going to be a tough sell. Unless it moons I guess.

Yeah, it's back to $0.25 and you only get like 5 BAT per month now. I used to get 25 easily. This project is going to slowly die and become irrelevant soon.

All the data is not in your favor. DAU's and MAU's are looking to go parabolic. Brave is looking likely to flip Firefox.

So? Brave /= BAT. It's the same shit with Ripple and XRP.

I like Brave as a browser, period. The fact we get any BAT at all is icing on the cake. Literally no downside to using this.

Why do the users get less BAT if the price increases?

Fuck Firefox. The last straw was when they fucked up something with signatures and all addons were disabled. There is absolutely no reason to use it over chromium now.

It was an expired cert and they fixed it in less than a day.

Even fucking Google has made giant fuckups, like that time Google showed a warning on every single website claiming they were all malicious.

It definitely wasn't same day, took multiple. You're an actual cuck if you use firefox or chrome. Imagine using a browser that slaps your hand if you want to use it how you like. You pay for your computer, you pay for your Internet, and yet you're letting your software tell you how to use it?

Just lol

It took hours to be fixed. All you had to do was enable Tests as that was the only quickfix available (certificates are hsrd coded and you can't reactivate a certificate once it expires, and the way Mozilla build system is set up it takes a day more or less to create a new build, and more time to distribute it as it's rolled out in batches.)
>Imagine using a browser that slaps your hand if you want to use it how you like
Firefox is the most customizable browser there is, on top of having about:config with settings such as resist.fingerprinting that are not available on any other browser.

It does not seem logical at all.

If the price of a token increases, and you receive certain amount of tokens in Brave, then the users should earn more in $ which drive further adoption etc.

Unless the rewards diminish if BAT goes up in value, which would be extremely retarded?

>> No.22659470

1) BAT will not go to 10$
2) Even if it does, the rewards could then decrease for a percentage, but still allow users to profit from the price increase. Otherwise there is no incentive.
