biz told me nyan was a scam, but I finally looked into it and the tokenomics are actually really cool. have any other projects had a system like this?

It is a scam especially last 10 times you have shilled it, nice new tactic, doubt it works

But almost all liquidity is locked and voting starts soon

why do you think it's a scam? I usually think copies of other projects are scams, which is why I'm asking if there's anything else like it

Check out the TG posts from Black Zero tonight, if you're not bullish you will be after seeing that. RARI integration possible for NFT's and Vaults/Yearn integration on the horizon.

It's not a scam, but it definitely isn't going places like /biz/ thinks. Everyone's ignoring how much of a trainwreck the actual voting is going to be. Votes are paid, allowing the biggest whales to effectively make the decision themselves. This gives them all the power to pump into projects they already own and then pull out, giving them effectively twice the returns. Likewise it allows them to pump into projects which they may be involved in themselves, effectively making NYAN holders fund their own works. Even if the whales don't pull any schemey shit, they still hold the majority vote. So for example, in a situation where an asset NYAN holders have funded is dumping and most holders feel it's time to pull out, the whale has the real decision. If he feels that the project will rebound, he can simply tell everyone else to shut up and sit down. Ultimately this could lead to the project sinking further and holders getting heavily burned.
Basically, despite the group effort idea on paper, NYAN is really all about giving one guy money and then hoping that he won't scam you or make dumb decisions.

Isn’t voting .1 nip per nyan holder, Are you saying they’re allowing multiple votes and or bigger stacks will have majority voting power? You have a link?

The problem with that argument is that the whale would be destroying something he's deeply invested in. It would be much more profitable for the whale if the fund was profitable, because he would not only benefit from the fund's profit, but also from the appreciation of his Nyan tokens while the fund is profitable. He can still pump his own bags secondarily while not trying to scam the fund

I think you have a negative view of people. I am not a whale at all but I trust the community on this one. If the dev team recommends we start with a yield farming strategy to get situated at the beginning I fully believe that will happen. Once more revenue streams are added down the line investments can become more risky.

You know cats tested positive for covid? If you’re not putting a mask on your cats, dogs, tigers, papaya, motor oil, snakes, pengolins, and goats, you’re not protecting your fellow countrymen, hate science, and Are antivax.
